They are slow and sometimes they can be very rude about it.

Yesterday I called ahead I arrived maybe 3 or 4 minutes early. I told the gentleman that I was going to another store to return in a few minutes. When I came back after my order, two tacos by the way and they were not that busy, has been put in a full 20 minutes earlier. When I politely asked if it was ready, the employee proceeded to tell me four or five times that this was not a McDonald's and he kept repeating another four or five times that I want everything in 30 seconds.

I repeated what he said loud enough for the other customers to hear then he proceeded to tell me that I was talking too loud. I got a refund I will never return. They are always slow they take way longer than any time that they tell you your order will be ready.

The food is honestly only okay, it's just convenient because I live nearby. I have eaten there many times and when my food was not ready I said I will go home and come back I've never had an issue.

I truly think I was treated this way because of the color of my skin, or perhaps the way I was dressed. I say this because I've never had a problem coming back when my order is ready to pay when it was ready and this gentleman told me I was supposed to stay at the store. He insisted that I was supposed to wait however long it took in person. This is ridiculous and I've never been treated that way at that particular establishment.

It seems like the issue was that I didn't pay immediately. The last time I checked you pay for food when it's ready. It was not ready I have never done that before I've never been asked to do that before. And I'm sure this person took a liberty to determine maybe I can't pay. Or maybe I'm up to something or doing something suspicious I don't know I don't need to spend any of my hard-earned dollars at a business that doesn't seem to want them.

If you want your food in any timely manner do not come here. If you want really excellent Mexican food do not come here either it's not that great. Also occasionally because they are so slow they will literally insult your intelligence. This person literally told me that I thought I was in the McDonald's because I politely asked if my...

This is hands down one of the best meals I've had in DC. Value for money, flavor, size, presentation; the team here really nailed it!

I've been on a bit of a burrito kick, so I tried the Veggie Burrito. They have 4 types of veggie fillings, but here's the kicker: you can just get a mix of all of them in one!! The mushrooms were so well cooked, the cauliflower was lightly fried, the nopales were so savory; it was filled perfectly. In addition, the two salsas they had (Roja and Verde) added just the right amount of flavor and spice to make the burrito a 10/10.

I also got the Cucumber Mint Lemon Agua Fresca, which they served blended. Seriously, it was KILLER!! Even if you're not hungry for a full meal, you gotta come try this. I am so happy I stopped by and can't wait to go back. Great service, great food, great presentation, great neighborhood, good prices; what else...

I really hate leaving negative reviews, but I feel like they've left me no choice. I picked up two burritos and a quesadilla today. When I got home about 5 minutes later, not only was everything ice cold, but there was a long black hair in my burrito. I called the restaurant to request a refund for the one burrito, and I was directed to text a picture to the manager. I did, and two hours have passed with no response. I tried calling the restaurant again and again but they sent me straight to voicemail every time. I tried calling and triple texting the manager with no response. Guess they're ignoring me now. I've never put in so much effort over a $12 burrito. I gave up because it’s now been 4 hours and still nothing. I'm frustrated because I really wanted to like this place. Forget the refund, I just won't come back. I'll be sure to tell my neighbors about this...

This place slaps. The tacos, burritos, and pupusas are all great, and their salsas are delicious. It can be hard to find authentic tacos in the DC area but this hits the spot. They have good vegetarian options too; everything is fresh and well prepared. If you pick up your order in person the dessert case is dangerous; just go with it and treat yourself to that mango cheesecake. It's meant to be. If you order delivery or carryout it travels quite well, especially for tacos which can become a soggy mess. I have had no problem with that here. It's a family run business with good customer service too. We placed an order with a ton of special requests. They not only called to clarify our order, but got just about everything right. We'll be back!
