Takoma Park Neighborhood Library — Attraction in Washington

This library is great. If you want any book in the DC Library system, all you need do is order it (through the online system) and it'll arrive at this branch in a day or two.

The scanning part of the printer allows you to scan anything for free and send it to your own or someone else's email. Printing is just 15 cents per copy.

The staff is helpful and attentive.

The DCPL Takoma Park has an extremely helpful and accommodating staff. Despite having heard the same question for the millionth time, the staff members come to your assistance with a smile and willingness to help. They’ve hosted some very interesting speakers on topics relative to searches on your family tree and significant DC locations on the Underground Railroad to freedom for African Americans. Pros: friendly/helpful staff very close to metro nice community around the library

Cons: library is small and has limited digital resources only 4 tables to do work at there are no quiet areas and the open space means you hear everything going on in the library the kids who visit are very loud and little is done to keep them quiet no study rooms
