Well I would have given it 5 just on food alone, however they're missing a few basic things which negated my overall enjoyment. didn't have spicy mustard, (okay, not all places have it, so I shouldn't assume) They didn't have a soup spoon, for the soup, just a standard tablespoon, so it made it a little difficult to enjoy that last drop with out doing the pinky lift bowl slurp.. And they only had one dessert this day, not the three that were on the menu, so yeah a little upset, but the food was good.
I do recommend, but please view the menu and see what you like and verify before you order that they have the items in stock and available. P.S. We went at lunch, so there is no way they should have run out of the desserts, I can see dinner time, but c'mon, I got all excited.... sniff, sniff. Will I go again, probably, it wasn't a big faux pas, this time, however if they do it again, then I may...
Read moreWill make a great vegan option for you!
Their menu states to please specify “No oyster sauce”. Tofu or vegetables are on the menu as protein options, no special instructions needed!!! I ordered the Mixed Vegetables and asked for it spicy, I ordered the Spicy Eggplant with tofu and a side of fried tofu. NONE of the curries can be made vegan they said. 2 meals and one appetizer was $31 to go. The food quality is good-the vegetables cooked to perfection and fresh. Staff friendly and cheerful. Portions were ok, really more of a lunch size portion at dinner prices. It was 3pm on Sunday so restaurant was nearly empty so food was relatively quick. I said I like spicy and it was maybe medium spicy. Appetizer fried tofu was really bland, peanut sauce with it was great. Clean restaurant, will probably stop here next time in town since it was so easy to...
Read moreWe visited this restaurant in November 2021. We found it on the last day of our trip, and I really wish we had found it earlier. The food was excellent and the staff was incredibly friendly. They made excellent suggestions, and we were very pleased with our food. We had the Pad See Ew with Chicken, the Pad See Ew with Seafood, the Tofu Soup, and the Fried Calamari.
The fried calamari was very good, though I wish the pieces were cut a little smaller (this is purely personal preference). The day had been cold, and the tofu soup was exactly what we needed to warm us up. The star of the meal was the pad see ew. It was delicious! I'm normally picky about seafood, so I went with the chicken (always a safe option). My mother chose the seafood option. While the chicken was excellent, I preferred the seafood.
We will definitely come back next time...
