One-Star Google Review for Good Vibes Coffee, Parkland, WA
Iāve been a loyal customer of this coffee stand since their opening on 10/23, (PARKLAND LOCATION IN THE SAARS MARKETPLACE PARKING LOT) often visiting dailyāsometimes multiple times a day. In just 55 days, Iāve spent approximately $500 digitally at this location, not including cash payments. Thatās roughly 60 drinks Iāve purchased, always paying and tipping well.
The baristas have generally been great, and Iāve enjoyed my interactionsāuntil this week. One of the less friendly baristas informed me that I was no longer welcome to take my business there. When I reached out via email for clarification, I was told there were āconcerns about complimentary drinks and loyalty points.ā This claim is completely unfounded, as my expenditures clearly prove otherwise.
Theyāve had to remake my drink maybe twice due to overuse of club soda, which they acknowledged and offered to fix. On a few occasions, my loyalty points didnāt register on the app. I didnāt complain; I simply inquired about it, and the barista said sheād follow up, which I appreciated. However, during my next visit, I was abruptly informed that not only would they not make the drink I was trying to pay for, but I was no longer welcome as a customer.
Iām incredibly disappointed and embarrassed by how I was treated after being such a loyal customer. Iāll gladly take my hard-earned money to other local small businesses that truly value their customers. Ā Ā Ā Read moreVal is gone. She was the best barista I've ever had the pleasure of getting coffee from, and she ran the parking lot like she owned it. I live in Rainier and I work in the parking lot and on my days off I'd still drive 35min to get a coffee from here and another 35min to go home. And now, the management has made a petty decision to relieve her (and most of the old crew has left). The quality of the drinks here have tanked immediately since her departure, and we have one less smile making everyone's day. Not only was Val the best barista I've received coffee from, she was a pillar of joy in this community, and had fantastic relations with all she worked with. Val is a part of this community, and if the management at good vibes can't see that, then they're blind to the long lines Val generated, and the amount of return customer Val received. As someone who has (apparently) reached VIP status at good vibes according to clover, I'm well and done with this place until Val returns. If she decides to work somewhere else.. heck, I'm already willing to drive 35min and back...

I previously gave this place a 5 star review and if it was possible I would give a higher review. They used to be amazing. The entire staff was amazing. But I noticed over the last couple weeks that a lot of the staff that made this place successful were no longer there. Also the drink quality started to get worse. I was really confused because I have gone there for years and the quality has always been top notch. Even on the days I didn't have to work. I'd travel the 30 minutes in the mornings just to get my drinks here. But starting today I will no longer be getting my drinks here and I'll start referring others to go elsewhere. I found out Val was fired and not only fired, but I found out why she was fired and it's complete nonsense. The owners of this place are corrupt and from what I've seen from other reviews it seems to be consistent. I refer at least 5 different people a day to this stand and I will now be looking for another.
