Pizza is next level. We are an Imos family for sure. Pastas are good but you can tell they arent fresh. Front counter service for pick up is hit or miss. Tonight there was a gentleman with glasses working who is very soft spoken. I came in and said I was there for pick up and I guess he said "name on the order" but I didn't hear him. He very rudely said NAME ON THE ORDER. He sounded like he was just over being there. I was taken aback and just said sorry and that I didnt hear him. He coldly said "foods not ready yet." Read moreIt's Imo's. If you are from Saint Louis, you know what that means as this is the "Saint Louis-style pizza" that you grew-up with and learned to identify as pizza.
I am a native New Yorker. That stuff is NOT pizza.
That said, "Saint Louis-style pizza" has a charm all its own.
If you are not from STL, don't bother thinking of it as pizza but as a different form of tasty Italian food. And Imo's is very good at making that.
Thus, my 3-star rating.... It's not pizza, but, whatever you want to call it, it's good (just not as pizza) and Imo's...
