Jose's — Restaurant in Washington

I should've been warned when I couldn't find their menu online. It's Mexican food. I ordered the chicken quesadilla and a beer. Waitress didn't offer me a glass for my beer. About 1/3 of the quesadilla was overcooked to the point that some of it was burnt. Plastic fork (no knife offered), plastic plate... might as well been a picnic. Bartenders are friendly, beer is cold, juke box happily eats money and belts out tunes, what more could ya ask for? Depending on the time of the day/night, one of Uptown Washington's derelicts might be there, but they typically keep to themselves. Jose's is everything you crave in a hometown bar. Would never go here again me and a few of my family and friends came in here and felt so out of place!! We were black of course eyes were on us.. the bartender barely paid us any attention right after you get your drinks your suppose to pay for them she never took our money.. worst bar...
