If you're in the Brookland neighborhood and want some quick grab and go tacos, then this spot is worth trying. Feels more authentic than what you'll get at some of the other nearby fast food restaurants, which I really did appreciate. Service is fast and friendly. You'll get tortilla chips and salsa to start. The empanadas were flavorful enough on the inside, the outside will require you to dip it in the salsas provided. It's a bit bland on the exterior of the empanadas. The tacos were the highlight of the meal. They were very good overall (I really liked the tinga de pollo) . The mahi mahi was ok. I think the thing they really need to work on is their pairings and seasoning. Hopefully it will improve. They just need to invest in this area of their business a bit more by surveying the community or these reviews to determine what this neighborhood and their potential customers will respond well to.

We went out with a few friends here after visiting DC for the day. We arrived to find this place much smaller than anticipated for our party of 7 & what seemed to be only one employee. We should have known after they served us the chips and salsa to leave, but we continued to order anyway. 1 of 3 of my tacos was wrong, neither of the guests who ordered fajitas ate them. The chicken looked undercooked and also, I have never come across a place to serve fajitas with celery. A mandatory gratuity was added with our party size, which was a little steep given the service (20%??). The alcoholic beverages were delicious - but don’t plan to eat here again.

I am a huge taco fan, however I was not a fan of this place. I ordered the empanada. The filling needed more seasoning and the outside was bland too. The shrimp quesadilla wasn't fully cooked. They took it back and remade it. The mahi mahi taco was pretty flavorful. The staff was very welcoming and attentive....the food just wasn't the best. They are still relatively new... hopefully things get better for them.

Went to have dinner with my wife and her sister-in-law since we are visiting from Southern VA and left deeply disappointed. The service wasn't great but above all the food was subpar. I am Mexican and am always looking to support local Mexican owned businesses when I can especially since Mexican food always hits home for me. Unfortunately this place did not deliver. My family and I were the only Latino people there that didn't work there and the staff made it obvious that they catered more to their Caucasian patrons. My food was cold when I was finally able to eat it, as my food came out before we even received silverware. We sat there staring at our plates and it wasn't until we asked for silverware that the waiter realized that we had none. I ordered a drink that never came, luckily I hadn't paid for it yet. Wouldn't recommend this location to other Latinos as you will be treated as second class citizens. This was at the...

Small intimate and I thought it was Taco City which doesn't show up on Google maps. We stopped into Yes! And wanted something to eat. Tacos 🌮 are s delicious after lunch special. Asked the server for suggestions that my wife followed and I got the vegan taco 3 wasn't enough and was going to order a turkey sandwich without the bacon but they were out of bread so I asked that they put the turkey on my tacos. Delicious. So a loss star. A homeless woman came in asking for a glass of water and they obliged her. Star added back. We offered to buy her what we were eating because she said her legs were hurting her but she approached our table. She refused our offer because she wanted McDonalds. There are no McDonalds anywhere close to the restaurant. So we withdrew our offer. Ice tea was small and not very sweet. We...
