Our first time there and this restaurant wowed us. Great food, awesome environment, quick friendly accurate service. Best part was the value. We were drinking wine with our meal and it came out to roughly $100 per person before tip. For an upscale experience, charming decor, mature dress-up crowd, high-end food quality and excellent menu worthy of becoming a regular...this restaurant will not dissapoint you. Highly recommend for date night or to impress business associates and colleagues. Only thing is you have to get reservations in advance since it's a very popular place, and there is no garage or valet so parking is a challenge. Uber or Lyft is the way to go.

We had the Mother's day brunch set menu. Food was pretty good but some dishes were a lot better than others. Among starters, the smoked trout salad had great flavor. The crab cake was solid, nothing special. Beets were food except the vinaigrette was very sweet -- sweeter than the creme brulee. As for the mains, I was a little underwhelmed by the amount of duck in the duck confit hash -- otherwise delicious. If I had to do it over, I would have gotten the filet mignon, which came with some killer roasted potatoes.

Celebrated an anniversary and couldn’t be happier with the food and service here. The atmosphere is very great and the restaurant is so elegant. Daniela, our server, was knowledgeable and delivered with impeccable timing. I had the filet minion and it was fantastic cooked medium. We’ll definitely be back.

We went here for our anniversary and even listed that on the reservation. The food was good, but the service was all over the place. The beginning of our meal felt rushed and we were done with appetizers and entrees after 45-50 min. We were then presented the dessert menu and ordered. We did not end up receiving our dessert for another 40 minutes. Never were we told that there would be such a delay. If that had been the case because of a kitchen backup, we would have understood and chose not to have ordered a dessert. Instead we were stuck at our table with no one even stopping by to refill our drinks. We were left feeling like we had been forgotten - definitely not what you would want on a special night out.

Portion sizes also varied widely. My husband's meal was incredibly small while mine was almost too large. He would have left our expensive dinner hungry if mine wasn't large...

The restaurant is located on Wisconsin, and is easy to get to.

The good: beef medallions, though lacking texture, tasted good

The bad: I can’t recall the last time I had to send back pasta. I ordered the linguini with wild mushroom, which sounded delicious, but it tasted completely flavor-less. I didn’t think this would be possible with pasta, but here I am proven wrong. same issue with mussels - but it was our appetizer so we ate it anyway (hunger can be a b%^*c) lackluster service. Linguini was served without a spoon, and the waitress barely checked on us through dinner.

I don’t know if the chef took the night off, but it felt like the place despises flavor. Definitely will not be going back. Much better options around the corner such as Et Voila, Bistrot Lepic, and not to mention...

Went for my mom’s birthday. Had been there for brunch before so was expecting an excellent dinner. Instead we got a very underwhelming meal, especially for its cost. The waiter, ill suited to a service job but seemingly hired for his French accent, started taking our orders with a harsh “what do you want.” Every interaction kept that same level of hostility. I didn’t know it was possible to mess up French Onion Soup, but my Dad and I both got a small bowl of bland water with some onions floating around. The entrees for fine but it didn’t seem like anyone got anything special. And the deserts were undersized and uncreative. Really dissappintrd in what what was supposed to be an exceptional meal, especially...
