Rome Pizza & Sub — Restaurant in Washington

I don't go out to eat much but I walk past this place everyday. I see the two lovely workers working so hard and I honestly don't think they take days off. There is close competition that people may choose because of restaurant style convenience but I would encourage you to order here if you want something real and delicious and in a more Togo like fashion. Their pizza is amazing, probably one of the best places I've tried in years! I also tried the garlic bread which was delicious. The two workers, which I'm assuming are the owners, are very friendly and I was so happy to finally stop in and eat.

Their website isn't the best but it gets the job done. They have a nice menu board in the store and grab and go brochures which is nice.

I look forward to more delicious...

Let me tell you — Rome Pizza is a hidden gem! The pizza is always hot, fresh, and made with love. I stop by for the lunch special more often than I should (my high blood pressure reminds me every time 🤣), but it’s just that good!

Now let’s talk about the berry juice — my goodness! It’s honestly out of this world. Fresh, perfectly sweet, and ice-cold — it’s like something you’d find at a fancy café, not your everyday pizza spot. You can tell they make it with real fruit and care.

I had the pleasure of meeting Terry and his wife, and they are just the sweetest, most genuine people you’ll ever meet. You can feel their pride and passion in every bite and sip.

If you’re in the area, do yourself a favor — grab a slice and that berry juice....

I have ordered from rome before and have had good and bad experiences. Tonight, I ordered a chicken, mushroom, green pepper, onion calzone (which includes ricotta) and the broccoli cheese bites. The calzone has lots of chicken, some onions, and no mushrooms or green peppers as well as including two bites (generous) with ricotta. The broccoli bites, in my girlfriend’s words, “tasted like hummus”. Do not order from this place.
