There are a few reasons as to why I'm giving this McDonald's 2 stars. The very first being the ridiculous prices on everything. There have been 3 separate increases on pricing for everything in the last 5-6 months. I understand keeping up with increasing employees wages, but this is just a ripoff combined with the service they give.
On 3 separate occasions that I had ordered recently, every single time, the fries were not fresh. Not only that, but the box was barely half full. That is because the management and owners train employees to short customers on fries by not fully opening the box and FILLING it, despite them asking about $4-$5 for a large fry. Not only was it not full, but fries were soggy and not hot. Lukewarm, bottom of the fry station, 3 batches old at best. This was after asking for COOK TO ORDER.
When going inside, expect to not be helped quickly. Hygiene is prioritized at most restaurants, but this is not one of them. Over half of the employees LOOK dirty, like they rolled out of bed after not showering for a couple days. Most of them are being very unprofessional, saying inappropriate things to one another, throwing sauce packets at each other, and overall setting a poor standard for any children that come into the establishment. Also, management is very poor at this location. I've seen one decent shift manager, who is a very nice guy, but this one individual can hardly make up for the disrespectful, dishonest, or disturbingly dirty employees. There are a few good employees who look clean, and seem like they work great, but Jesus do they deserve better owners and bosses. Worst McDonald's I've ever been to. DO NOT SPEND YOUR MONEY HERE!
I would recommend Taco Bell, or if you really want a burger, head to Big Boys off of Jefferson Street or Steak and Shake if you want a fresh burger...
Read moreI've known the owners for years, always been good people. They would always do right to make sure this establishment is well taken care of. I can't the say the same for the employees. It seems every year, they manage to hire employees that have less work ethic than the year before. Zero accountability, zero responsibility, and zero workmanship. I hate leaving reviews, but the idiocy urks me otherwise. Half these kids live at home, and continue to complain about getting paid $15 an hour. If you actually bust your brain & a**, you'll get somewhere. First you have figure out what it takes to master your first job or profession, and the rewards you reap will keep that generational sickness away. My kids do just fine. This seems to be the trend all over Washington... let alone the country. My last visit is definitely my last visit, we started cooking at home more often since COVID, so rising fast food prices just doesn't attract me at all. We've been paying the same wholesale home food prices since right after covid so the fast food price hikes are uneducated. If you struggle with the service here, stop...
Read moreIt was busy and after I paid and got my receipt in the drive thru, I realized it was not for my order. At the pick up window I explained what was going on, the employee at the window said it had been happening, took my receipt and threw it away then asked what I HAD ordered. I told him , the manager came over and asked for the receipt which I explained the kid at the window had taken and thrown away. To his credit the kid apologized and looked through the trash but couldn't seem to find the right one. Doesn't sound like a 5 star review right? Except the manager was exceptional! She told me she just wanted to make sure they didn't owe me money. I explained I probably owed them like 9$, she waved it off asked what I had ordered, got it together in no time, apologized for my inconvenience and thanked me for coming!
