Worst run McDonalds in the Greater Seattle Area.
This “24 Hour” McDonalds frequently locks its doors for entire shifts for any number of reasons, “not enough staff” while you clearly see a full team of (fill in the stereotype) employees having a blast cashing in on their free check.
The Ice Cream machine “Doesn’t run at this hour” literally any hour or the day.
You could probably guess, but they have the worst customer service. Absolutely no regard for the customers in their lobby. I can’t keep track of how many times I’ve stood at the register for 2, 5, 10 minutes? Before somebody has even acknowledge the accumulating line of customers. Not once, Ever has there been a “I’ll be right with you”.
They fail to provide menu items because - they don’t want to make them. I’ve heard a verbal exchange not once, but Twice from the staff going something like this. Employee 1 “No salads from now” Employee 2 “Why no salads we hav-“ Employee 1 “Do you want to make a salad?” Employee 2 “No...” Employee 1 “Ok. No salads”. Same for cookies, same for ice cream, etc.
Often, part of my order is missing. I then have to stand there for another 5 minutes before a (not busy) employee acknowledges me to address the issue.
UberEATS: they’re absolutely Terrible. TERRIBLE. In the store, they’re constantly - verbally complaining about Uber and ask “can we just turn it off?” - they often do. They’ve noted they put the tablet in the back of the restaurant now because the sound is annoying - distracting, and as a result they (coming from the manager) “sometimes don’t hear it” and fail to acknowledge or prepare orders, and often just end up turning it off.
The last 3 times I ordered from this location, they failed. Attempt #1: could not confirm order with restaurant Attempt #2: Received the Completely wrong order. Attempt #3: No large shake. They told the driver they don’t serve ice cream at this time (during dinner hours). Driver asked if they would call. They said no they’re too busy (1 other car in line). Driver asked if they’d adjust the price, they said “we’ll do it in a few minutes”... No call, no refund, no substitution.
McDonald’s in Seattle with not one, but 20 people in their lobby and a jam packed drive through can still somehow manage to call their Customer when there’s an issue. This team apparently lacks the training, motivation and consistency to provide even a less than average experience. That’s not something an expensive remodel can fix. Something needs to shift higher up than just the manager because apparently the shots aren’t...
Read moreThis place is HORRENDOUS! Go to Thomas Lake, Mill Creek, or any other location. I've had to pick up from this place for UberEats over ten times, and each time, I had to wait 15+ mins, AND while I wait, the staffs bicker, fight, yell at one another. That's not all folks, EVERY single time I go into the lobby to pick up and wait for my order, the staff actually talks trash about me and UberEats drivers in general! I wish the Uber driver app tells us where we're picking up because if it did, I'd always pass on this place. I always apologize profusely when i deliver to customers for the excessive wait, and it's sad that most of them reply saying, "No worries, I know that place takes really long for everything." I'd also like to inform everyone that they close their lobby at 10:00 and drive-thru at 11:00. I know Google says they're open 24hrs, but they aren't. And they're VERY rude to customers who come by.
As a side note, tonight I witnessed a man just drive off after having waited 30+ min for his order. I know because that's how long he was waiting in front of me, and I was timing my wait. I have no idea how long he waited before I got there but it sure looked like he'd been there awhile. And they brought out his food 15 min after he left. A girl brought it to me, and I informed her that he left 15 mins prior.
This place is a nightmare!!
PS: they're so SLOW on EVERYTHING that a slug would beat them at a race, BUT come closing time, they move SO fast, like their assess are on fire! At closing time, even The Flash...
Read moreThis McDonald's location is, hands down, the worst I've ever visited. Several issues contributed to this terrible experience.
First, the large woman who manages the restaurant on Wednesday nights is a complete and total tyrant, creating a hostile and uncomfortable environment. The staff clearly appear nervous and afraid of her, which is incredibly unsettling.
Second, her approach to customer service is non-existent; she is exceptionally rude and shows no concern for customer satisfaction.
Third, the food quality is abysmal. The fries were cold the moment I received them. This is unacceptable.
Fourth, the restaurant's policy on sauce is misleading and frustrating. While the McDonald's app indicates that sauces are free (as is standard at most locations, excluding those that clearly list a charge during the ordering process), this location does not provide them without charge. There is no signage to indicate this policy, and no charge appears on the app. This leads customers to believe they will receive sauce with their meal, only to discover they must choke down the poorly cooked, cold food without it.
Overall, I am extremely disappointed with every aspect of this experience. The manager's behavior is appalling, and I feel particularly sorry for the kind employee who tried to be helpful but was clearly intimidated by her. Even though I live only a couple of minutes away, I will not be returning to this location. I would rather drive further to a...
