Food Quality: appetizer: the rangoons were perfectly crisp where needed, no old oil taste, holding the perfect amount of filling, ordered a side of Sriracha, which was maybe a half an ounce for 50 cents, that mixed with their provided free of charge sweet and sour sauce was delicious. Entree: I ordered the spicy chicken, I always want more veg than chicken though, so I utilized the sub rice for veg option and ordered a side of rice. The veg substitution consisted primarily of cabbage and two to three pieces of carrot and broccoli, the photo shows the exact amount of both present in my dish. The chicken was good, the sauce was good, (I'm a 4-5* kind of girl, rating 1-5, I'd say this falls around 2-2.5 for Thai spiciness, 1-2 for Indian spiciness) the cabbage was still crunchy but I really wanted the mixed veg as offered 😑 Customer service: Long day at work, had 1 min to order through DD, missed my entree order, only the crab Rangoon went through. Called the restaurant, the lovely individual I spoke with made it all work. 100% satisfaction with communication and effort. In no way did she need or have to help, she just did. Wish I'd gotten her name because I'd love to throw a shout out 🌟 Overall impression, I would recommend...
Read moreAmazing tasting food, one of my fav teriyaki joints. But How disappointing the ideals. This is for Echigos new owners. I have been coming to echigo for nearly 15 years with family and friends. Today marks the day I will not go, nor will I take my family or friends. There have been seasons where I ate there every day. I am a reasonable person though I am sure some will call me unreasonable and I understand people need to make money. I make good money, I am not lacking. However, I want you to realize that your up charge to substitute rice for veggies of $2.99 is ridiculous and over the top. I am on a diet that requires me to abstain from certain foods. To pay 5.99 for a teriyaki bowl is fine, to pay 9.99 for teriyaki and rice, fine and I often never get out the door spending less than $35 and thinking about it, $1 would be fine for the veggies, but $2.99 made me no longer want to be a customer. Is it really that burdensome to substitute rice for brocoli or veggies, this is a rea Bummer for me because I’ve spent thousands over the years here and I love the food however right now, I cannot have the teriyaki sauce or the rice. I would typically go a couple times a week and take family, but at least for now I will no longer be...
Read moreWaited 20 minutes for food, two people who ordered after us got food first, one of the people who ordered before us got something entirely different when he corrected her she insisted it was right. After waiting i asked were our food was to which she had no clue, the cook came out he had no clue then lazily walked over to get a cup of water, which he had already walked out of the kitchen 3-4 times to refill his water cup. We asked for our money back while they ran around trying to figure out where the food was. The bottom line (and im not being racist) theres an obvious communication problem when the women placing the orders speaks korean and very broken English and her cook only understands spanish. When i was speaking to them i felt like theydidnt really have a clue what...
