When I explained my need for a wake-up call without the jitters, Dee immediately impressed me with his exemplary customer service. He thoughtfully asked if I preferred a hot or cold drink, then hit me with a recommendation I never would've considered: a Matcha tea with Lemonade and Peach. Good service. Great coffee. I had the Havana Cappuccino. I was looking for something new and interesting because I usually drink black coffee. I knew I was going to break my fast with some of their pumpkin bread and I wanted to splurge on a fru fru drink. I wasn’t disappointed. The cashier was well versed in quality customer service and that makes a huge difference. She was very patient with my wife as she decided on how to order her hot chocolate. Great service, friendly staff, excellent coffee. The baristas are friendly and knowledgeable, and they make sure that the drinks are prepared perfectly, while remembering who you are!. The atmosphere is always clean and the decor is modern and inviting, what you'd expect from a Peet's branch. Lots of seating and outlets for working and studying.

The only downside is the parking situation—it's only street parking, so it can be difficult to find a spot. Fortunately, there is a Harris Teeter parking garage nearby, so you can park there and walk to Peet's. All in...
