NoMa-Gallaudet U — Local services in Washington

Having used to work just a block away from NOMA station, I must say that I rally like the station and especially the area around it. With a Dunkin Donuts, Starbucks Potbellys and even a Harris Teeter all within waling distance, you cannot ask for more modern convenience. Also, being right next to a large and unique university like Gallaudet made for a fascinating urban experience. I loved the are and the Metro station made getting there easy, clean and a pleasure to use.

As others have said, the station is relatively clean and well-lit, but unfortunately doesn't provide much cover from wind which is really apparent during the frigid winter months. The two entrances/exits are also very far apart, so make sure you use the correct one or you'll be doing some unnecessary extra walking.
