EDIT: Based on the response provided from the ownership below, I have adjusted my review from 2 stars to 4. I appreciate the ownership for this restaurant taking immediate ownership of the problem and correcting the problem. We have honestly had nothing but great things to say since day one of trying Pico De Gallo. We will definitely be returning customers and trying again based on their response. It’s so hard to find great customer service in today’s world and the ownership here is always wonderful. Thank you so much for responding to my review and making things better!
I'm so sad to be writing this review. We have lived in Parkland for several years and visited Pico De Gallo on multiple occasions! Typically we are super impressed and we rave to people about how great the customer service and the food are!
Today was a totally different experience though. There was no warm welcome when we entered (even though there were no other customers in the restaurant and there were two workers behind the counter. We ordered two bowls and the female who was preparing our food gave us half (or some less than half) scoops of each ingredient requested. Even when we ordered double steak on one of the bowls, the total steak provided was not even a full scoop combined. We ended up with our bowls not even half full by the time it was said and done (which is absolutely crazy considering we each had rice, beans, proteins, potatoes, salsa, lettuce, cheese, and sour cream on each). The bags of chips that were provided are usually at least half full, if not most of the way full. Today the chips barely even covered the bottom 1/4 of the bag (seriously less than 10 chips total).
I know that the price of everything has gone up and a lot of restaurants cut portions to try and make up for some of that difference, but it was really sad to see a place that we usually love so much and rave about to others be so...
Read moreI'M SO DISAPPOINTED AND OFFENDED BY WHAT I'VE JUST EXPERIENCED! I've been coming here for 2-3 yrs consistently and I've always had awesome customer service and the did is really good...UNTIL TODAY! A employee by the name of Ishmael (I believe that's his name) tried to charge me for things I've never been charged for before and then was telling me what I'll be okay taking my food the way he's making it as I'm ordering my food. The thing that took it over the top is I asked if he could give me some extra chips and he said, "YOU GET WHAT YOU GET!!!" Listen, I value customer service above all else and this literally made me want to come back here due to one employee and his lack of respect and hospitality. This pains me as I've always baked this place over Chipotle and tell everyone I know to come here and I feel like my experience was ruined. There's supposedly no way to contact management as I was given a regular card with ordering info on it. I live in Spanaway and not sure if I'll be back here or tell anyone else to again. Hopefully staff will be vetted better going forward as I have a disgusting taste in my mouth after this encounter! 🤢😮💨
04/06/24 Edited: After my compliant you decide to give praise to the employee (Ismael) which I said was the problem and spoke to me disrespectfully. Money is never a problem for me but disrespect and lack of service is. There's no way to reach management except for by this means (email doesn't work) and it's clear that my experience and that of your customers really doesn't matter to whomever is replying. For this reason, this will definitely and sadly be my last time at your establishment! But since I'm only 1-5 of your cliental, that shouldn't matter...
Read moreTHE QUESO IS NOT QUESO ITS HEATED UP SOUR CREAM 🤢. for a restaurant with such a alleged high rating (if it’s not fabricated) the workers sure are rude as hell and the food is absolutely grade A garbage. if you think you are gonna get quality food here you are sadly mistaken. today is my birthday and i picked this spot cause it was reasonably priced (online) and i liked the pick your own stuff, under that impression it does not live up to the hype. the workers got pissed off at me and my husband because i asked if i could have a little scoop of rice in my tacos, said i had to buy the whole side of nothing at all. not to mention we were the only ones there for literally an hour, as we were leaving i seen one person go in to pickup a doordash order and that was it. i feel bad for the people who doordashed this food. if you want a pick n mix mexican food got to chipotle or even taco bell, at least they have actually food and queso that isn’t just heated...
