My bf and I were SUPER excited to try this pizza place, which is not necessarily close to our home. We looked at the menu the night before and picked out what we were going to eat. However, when we actually tried to order the things we wanted, they were out of EVERYTHING. Every single item. Most popular crust? Out. Award winning pizza? Out of half the toppings. Anything with Italian sausage? Also out. Ceasar salad? Out of lettuce?!? When we got home and shared our experience with family, we were told they had experience similar problems but thought it was a fluke. And we watched as waitress after waitress sat people down with the menu, walked away, let them pick out their food, and then proceed to tell them the restaurant has nothing they want. How can a restaurant operate this way? Meats I understand coming from a specific supplier, but lettuce?! You can’t go to Grocery Outlet or Safeway down the street and buy and wash and chop some lettuce? This was my indicator that probably everything is pre-packaged and the cooks are unable to prep or cook anything themselves - they simply assemble. This was confirmed when the salad I ordered surprisingly came with pesto (and I’m allergic to tree nuts) so the waitress had to check the ingredients for pine nuts - and she returned with a photo of the bottle of pesto they use 😒
The idea of driving away and having to try to find something else when we came hungry and prepared was not going to happen without a hangry fit. So what I can say is we had to order a caprese salad in place of the Caesar, which was the most basic caprese I’ve ever seen. Like caprese salad 101, a child could have been slapping it together in the back. The only thing that saved the experience was the actual pizza, which we had to order Detroit-style and the BBQ chicken pizza since it was one of the only ones they had. I can’t lie, the pizza was delicious. It just wasn’t what we actually wanted and I doubt after this experience we’ll ever risk coming back to be extremely disappointed again.
I did wait overnight before posting this review in the hopes I would get over my experience, but I woke up still thinking about it this morning and want to keep other people from being as...
Read moreFor slices, pick up: update May 25 2024 Server: Audrey C, Check #67 Time: 3:02PM Had a bad experience on this day. Came to get some slices. No selection of slices besides pepperoni. They were jot busy at all, so I asked how long for pizza to be made. She told me it would take 15 to 20 minutes. I ordered the 12 inch margarita. We waited for 20 minutes and then asked if the pizza was ready. Another server, a young man this time said he would check. Then he got the original server and she said she would look into it and she said oh it’ll be another 5 to 10 minutes. then we heard them talking with each other and it turns out that they had forgotten to put the pizza in the first time but wouldn’t up to it. It ended up taking half an hour to get the pizza. They could have told us what happened (that they forgot) and simply apologized but they tried to cover it up. Bad customer service. So they gave us the pizza and then the pizza was NOT SLICED lol. I did not realize this until an hour later when I was no longer near the pizza place. Was on the road with no pizza slicer. So, I had to fold the pizza over sort of like calzone and eat it like that. Prior to this, this was my favorite pizza place used to always talk about going. There is always a great positive thing because I’ve had great experiences in the past for picking up slices. it’s really frustrating because now when my wife and I think this place this is what we think about how frustrating it was just to try to get some slices or pizza. I hope you guys can resolve the issues that you have with the servers in the slices pick up area. Including pic of the NOT SLICED pizza 🤣 I had tipped a bit when I ordered and wish I hadn’t, they definitely don’t deserve a tip for this.

Read moreMore often than not, the pizza here is terrific, but that doesn't make up for my consistent issues. The restaurant appears to suffer from chronic understaffing and undertrained employees, resulting in frequent order pick-up delays. Additionally, they utilize Toast for their ordering system and digital reward points. Over time, I accumulated a substantial number of points, totaling over $200, but could not redeem them due to some unknown issue.
After discussing this problem with various staff members, one eventually suggested I visit on a Saturday, assuring me they would find a solution. Upon returning on the specified Saturday and placing an order, the staff redeemed my points, leaving me with 0 points on my account! I was happy they resolved the issue; however, this satisfaction was short-lived, as I faced difficulties when attempting to redeem my accumulated $110 worth of points over the following months.
On my last visit, I politely explained my situation to my waitress, who was kind, and, with the patience of everyone at my table, we collaborated to troubleshoot the issue together. We even noted the absence of a manual entry option for loyalty cards in their system. I exchanged contact information with the waitress, who texted me that they “will make sure this issue is resolved.” In response, I said, “Thank you for helping to resolve this.”.
Regrettably, the next day, I received a call from the owner, Will, who failed to resolve the issue and requested that I remove my negative review. He said I “laid into the staff” despite our courteous behavior throughout the ordeal. Such a request to remove a review without addressing the underlying problem is inappropriate, as is the unjustified criticism of a customer.
I never imagined reaching this point, but the pizza is no longer worth the...
