Read moreNever been disappointed as I am today, been coming here for 5 years to support this business because I genuinely enjoyed the food. Today that changed when a new young staff served me what seems to be left over pieces of shredded chicken. I ordered the brown stew chicken with rice and peas and cabbage. As the server was making my large plate I asked her not to give me broken pieces. She gave me two small portions of whole chicken and the rest of it was broken shredded chicken which amounted to one extra piece of it had not been broken, so I paid for three pieces of chicken for what should have been a large which usually includes about 5 good pieces. Then she literally gave me one scoop of cabbage that were over cooked and needless to say I’m highly disappointed for her service. The owner was there but she is not approachable as she never smiles and always seems to just want to get people in and out her business. I think I will no longer support places like this although in the past I have enjoyed their food today was just trash of food service and poor quality of food. I took a pic of my served plate for reference. They sure show favoritism in cultures as well as in the past I’ve noticed they give more rations to the African Americans vs the other...
Read moreI have been coming here for awhile after searching for some good carribean food. I must admit that that curry chicken and spicy beef patties are delicious. The jerk chicken to me is awful after trying it 2 times. This is all I have tasted. Even though it is small inside it is nice and clean. I often thought about dining in. However that stank attitude that the female owner has is terrible. She always act mad and take it out on her customers. Maybe if you didn't act so funky you could keep some workers and don't always have to be trying to run the whole store. She is the worst. All I want to do is get my food and get out of there before I caught that stank attitude too. I'am just coming to get some food, that's all! She went up on the prices but give you the same portion. How is this even possible. Giving me mostly bones with no meat and get mad when you ask for carrots and potatoes. Make that make sense. Some people take their customers for granted until they don't have none. I hope to find someone else to go soon so I don't have to put up with this miserable person every time I come in there often and she never smiles. If you don't want to deal with people, you should just close down!!! People want good food with good service! If I could give a zero...
