Suzy's Pho Teriyaki — Restaurant in Washington

Amazing experience at Nana Wok Teriyaki. First, we were greeted very warmly, the menu was great and had many things to choose from but wasn't over whelming. Our table ordered the gyoza (yum), Spicy Chicken Teriyaki, General Tso, and the pork fried rice. The complimentary soup was great! A bit of a cabbage and veggie mix in a great broth. The food came out quickly (put still one by one, like all the great places do because well--it takes time to make different dishes) and my goodness, great portions! The salad dressing was great! Not too thick and MSG tasting like some of the other local places near by. Great tastes and spice levels for everything and the person working the counter was also our waiter and he was so helpful and kind to everyone that walked in. The general tso did NOT have the huge floury coating like so many others do but had that unique lightly breaded and perfectly sauced texture. What wasn't devoured was taken home and kept great for the next day! Perfect experience, well worth coming and checking out. Lots of regulars came in over the course of the meal so you know its good. OH and if it matters to you, very clean and bright! I dont' mind the 'hole in the wall' feel but this was nice. You can tell its a place the owners...

I ordered online thru ubereats and have a suggestion or request rather... Please dont add brocolli, zucchini,mushroom or carrot to Pho 😭... I legit had an Uncle Roger moment... Yes, if you're wondering, i DID select the option 'add chili and vegetables' for a few dollars extra (ubereats menu) so I understand I'm technically at fault. HOWEVER, I thought it meant the traditional greens (cilantro, thai basil, green chili, etc etc) I mean, I realized it was weird to get charged extra for those but didnt want to take my chances so went ahead and chose it.... MY FAULT yes, but c'mon why even have any option to add mixed veg(brocolli,carrot, mushroom, zuchinni) to pho?????? I'm hoping its an ubereats mistake and perhaps you've also been wondering why people keep choosing to add on mixed veg to pho 🤔 crazy americans lol....

Regardless its a confusing option to have when ordering pho 🤷‍♀️

Oh and one last thing...

PLEASE give vietnamese sriracha with pho, not Lee Kum Kee. Not a deal breaker but it still broke my heart, luckily a had...

This food has no flavor or taste. I ordered 4 different adult meals and all 4 of us didnt like what we recieved. The chicken Yakisoba was the worst yakisoba I have ever ate. It tasted like nothing, it was very bland with no sauce or seasoning on it. The Pho Broth is definitely not worth trying, it was bland as well. Pho Ever has way better Pho Broth! The pho broth at Suzy Pho just didnt taste like anything special, just hot water. The pork bimbimbop wasnt worth it either, I lived in Korea and this tasted nothing like it should taste. The chicken Teriyaki wasnt bad, the teriyaki sauce is very rich. I eat these types of foods alot and this is by far some of the worse I have came across. I more likely will not try this place again. The portion sizes were good but the food just isnt worth the price. I would say maybe its because I ordered it to go so the cooks probably didnt put as much love or thought into the dishes but I get these items to go from other places all the time and the taste is still good and consistent.
