My family really enjoys visiting this spot in Washington, PA. We are often meeting up with half of us coming from Pittsburgh and the other half coming from Morgantown, WV, so it’s a very convenient midway point. You can tell this is a popular neighborhood brewpub! On weekends it fills up. My go-tos are usually a wood fired pizza (their specialty) and a flight of beers, pictured from a previous visit. But on this particular visit, we were celebrating my brother’s birthday and ordered a number of different items. We started with some beers, of course, which are always on point here and rotate seasonally. I’ve never had a disappointment. I am currently taking it easy on alcohol due to a medical condition and was thrilled that their sister B&B Distillery allows them to offer cocktails and mocktails. I had a blackberry lemon spritzer that was absolutely delicious! The Giant pretzel was one of the best I’ve had, and I do tend to order this item at almost every brewpub as I think it’s a real measure of a place. This one is soft and absolutely delicious, and the beer cheese and mustard are next level. We loved the beer cheese so much that we also ordered the nachos that included it, ordering shredded pork on the side for the rest of the family as I’m a vegetarian. For entrees, we tried lots of different things ranging from sandwiches, like a Shrimp Po Boy, to Shaved Ribeye Tacos, to burgers, to their menu headlining Mac and cheese which is interestingly made with long noodles and housemade cheese sauce. You can add on a number of different items to this such as roasted vegetables which is what I chose. Everything we had was really delicious. The only slight hiccup was that one person was served cold french fries; they weren’t going to complain but someone else spoke up on their behalf and our server quickly offered that a brand new batch just came out and brought new ones. Service was attentive and very kind. I felt bad for the servers on this particular evening as it was pretty clear they were dealing with less staff than probably should have been on, I suspect one or two people called off. It was a busy weekend evening and only two or three servers were handling everyone, so sometimes we had to wait a little while for what we needed, but that was no fault of how hard our server was trying. We also had brought a small birthday cake of our own and our server was happy to bring extra plates and silverware and I didn’t see any fee assessed for this, which many restaurants do. Lenny the brewmaster heard we were celebrating a birthday and insisted on giving us a behind-the-scenes tour of the brewing facilities which was so kind!

I used to really enjoy this place, however the service has turned for the worst. The food is over priced and often comes out wrong, and the staff is huge for the amount of attention they give you. The food is good, but it's not worth the price often. I hope they turn it around.. I won't be back. They didn't acknowledge my party after passing us 12 times, I eventually went and got my own menu. When we did order they made a mistake and served us the wrong item, we tried to eat it but they forgot the sauce too.. at this point it was cold and we told them we won't be eating it but don't need anything remade. They still charged us for it! Needless to say they shot themselves in the toe and the tip had to sacrifice for their inability to stay working (on phones all the time), and inability to comprehend their mistake... I will do my best to tell everyone I know to use other restaurants and breweries in the area as this place is an obvious worst. I'm fired up yes, but I promise you would be too... tragic goodbye to somewhere I liked a lot

We stopped here on a Saturday evening in January. We purchased a whiskey trail pass online and this was one of the locations listed - it was actually B&B Distillery specifically but we were able to redeem the pass in the brewery with the help of a gentleman named Lenny. We sat at the bar and had a mocktail, a spirit tasting flight and a pizza. The mocktail was very good. The spirits were good. The pizza was ok. The bartender was friendly as was Lenny. There weren’t too many other customers but it was a rainy/snowy sloppy day. We had a good experience. There was one customer who was getting loud with a server and being quite rude to her and I don’t know what the problem was but it seemed unnecessary and I hope that man was embarrassed for acting that way towards that young woman. I’m not letting that affect my review - we had a good experience otherwise.

If I could rate this place 0 stars I would! AWFUL!!! If you look at my other reviews of places, I'm generous where it's valid. This place was terrible! We arrived, the hostess sat the pair in front of us. Then she asked if we wanted to sit inside or outside. There was one larger table and only 2 other tables inside with customers. Outside there was a couple, and the pair in front of us. I told her we didn't care either way. I asked her to choose. There is a nice side/back porch with picnic tables painted. She was going to seat us next to the couple until I we asked for the end picnic table. So we weren't on top of the other people. We sat down and the table was BEYOND sticky all of the way across. It seems there is no finish over the paint on the tables. It was rather annoying to stick to the table. We sat there for a good 10-15 minutes and a waitress walks over and said oh I guess you might be my table. Did anyone greet you yet as a waitress? We responded no. So she took our drink order and we wanted an appetizer of pretzels. We weren't quite ready to order food yet because we hadn't been there and when asked for recommendations the waitress said she really doesn't eat there. She said when we get our apps she can take our order. We both ordered sprite, and it tasted AWFUL thought maybe a preference she didnt eat there, which is fine. Maybe she is vegan or something is wrong and she has to watch what she eats due to allergies. I asked if the mac n cheese was popular. She told me wait until the main cook is there he makes it best, she likes his. (You can get a meat !!topping for it) at least 20 minutes and she walks back through, stating she is sorry there was a table of 20 that they were finishing up. Then she comes back 10 mins or so later and I asked if we could get it to go. She told me it will be at least 45 more minutes til it will be ready (2 burgers medium and fries, and our pretzels). I have worked in kitchens since I was 16. They were not busy AT ALL...with the exception of 20 people and 2 tables inside. And my table and the ladies in front of us. There were two waitresses (that i noticed) and 2 newer cooks. (From what she said) there is no way as long as we were waiting already thay it should have taken another 45 mins at that point. We asked her to cancel the order. She asked if we wanted an manager. Stating it wasn't necessary she said she is getting the manager. We graciously waited and a cook comes out, the poor man was overwhelmed with having to talk to someone. He asked if we wanted to speak to a manager. I said it wasn't necessary we just wanted to cancel the food and explained what happened. He then said If you come back...I stated not a chance that...

We go out to eat once a week and try to support local restaurants. We got the Steak Salad and Chicken Parm Slammer and 2 beers. The Steak Salad we received was basic salad mix, 2 cherry tomatoes, grated cheese, and a bit of steak. Was advertised to come with a "mound of fries" on top for $15. The Chicken Parm Slammer was fine, but the roll was pretty basic (something you could buy at Giant Eagle) and fairly bland. We go out to eat once a week and try to support local restaurants and we were very disappointed with quality of the food. The beer on the other hand was very good and the only saving grace. We very much enjoyed the beer, however the website was very misguided with the selections that they currently have available and in stock. I had to go through 4-5 selections that were on the website before I found 2 beers they had. When I got there, they didn't have have the Crowlers poured, despite having and no other take-out orders out other than mine and the servers did not look very busy. The 2 people I spoke with over the ordering and pick-up process were friendly.

Picture this: A disappointed woman that just worked all day, on a Saturday, chopping onions, carrots, and other things to add to a $15 salad they got from a restaurant. On the bright side, the beers were good I guess.

Overall: Beer is good when they have stock, food was disappointing and overpriced for...
