I will truly never ever come here again. The manager here last night, I was told her name is Shelly supported some of the worst service I literally have ever gotten. Came here on a Tuesday night to try something new and check out some views. Our server (had some fresh braids and matching eyebrows to it’s like reddish look) she was okay. Took out drink order we good. We place our food order and like 20 or so minutes later maybe longer she comes back and asks if we are ready to place an order… huh ma’am? Thought she was kidding but she wasn’t and we remind her we already ordered. I guess this shoulda been a flag our food The server from the other table next to us (bless her heart) she was light skinned and super apologetic. She ended up checking in on us after seeing frustration and tried to help. She brought my food and the plate was COLD. She brought the guy food next to me and his food HAD A BUG IN IT. After we complain she apologized and takes both our entrees back. The guy next to me orders something else like tacos. Fast forward another 20 ish and my food is returned - just as cold as the first time. I call the server back and ask her to touch the food so she she can see. I keep asking was like chicken bowl a cold dish bc how do you bring my a cold fish twiceee. At this point it’s like the light skinned girl took over the table bc where is our server at this point? I have no idea. Food over an hour plus more comes and it’s okay. But at this point friend already ate. Like dinner is over. Our server reappears around close out :) and I inform her of all the hardship and things and also inform her of the fact that the other server stayed that for the extreme waits, the bug in the neighboring time, the terrible service we have received we were told food would be waived. Now the manager comes to clear up that the light skinned girl who took over assisting us was not the manager. She looks completely unbothered but the terrible service. We were never apologized to, the inconvenience was never explained- this Shelly was a stern cold women that I would never send anyone to have any conversation. She was not empathetic, I think she offered to take a dollar or two off. For the guy who had a bug in her food she said oh no I’m not giving it to you for free I can give you a discount. For me at this point an hour plus in the food has more recently been finally delivered and I have not touched it at all yet. I tell her customer service wise we shouldn’t have to pay for anything but the drinks. Service was horrendous. Food had something wrong every single time. How do you bring me cold food twice? Like how? How do you not apologize for the inconvenience and you’re the one with an attitude?! We are paying for an experience and you’re serving crap. I told SHELLY THE MANAGER ( this solid woman with two feed in braids and no smile) that I haven’t even touched the food and if I have to pay almost full price she can have it. This woman takes the food back. She takes it back yall. Like maam what are you even going to do with it. It’s like 945pm ish by this point. Like you literally are the worst manager I have ever seen. I would never ever come a on a night this woman facilitates. The establishment and the service I received was clearly a reflection of the manager- POOR ATTITUDE AND POOR LEADERSHIP. Didn’t care about any customer satisfaction. Also gratuity is also included. Guess that’s why our server showed back up to make sure she got her 20 percent for not serving me anything fr. And not making sure my food was handled in a timely fashion. But when your money is guaranteed regardless of you give poor service, attitude and cold food this is the experience :) thanks Shelly for absolutely nothing. Even if the food was discounted the ATTITUDE y’all! Like ma’am how you mad that yall gave terrible service? Why is my bill 28 dollars and all I got was a drink and bad manners. I would pay for the drink but 20 percent where. We closed out paying full price and i believe the guy who had a bug in his food got something off but...

Came in on Tuesday night with some friends to celebrate. There were 4 bartenders and two servers from what I could see. When we first arrived we were not greeted but found an open table inside. We sat there for 15 min and never received any service. Then we found an open table outside and sat there another 15 min without service. Everyone around us received excellent service and the lady with the blonde puff was very attentive towards them. She deliberately avoided us by catering to one party by using the middle door then walking back inside and around to the side door to service the party by the side door. I then called out “excuse me” several times, as she was clearly navigating to avoid us. She still ignored us until the party she was servicing grabbed her attention and let her know. She proceeded to our to our table and asked in a very condescending tone did we need anything. I asked for a menu and she handed us a dirty one from another table. She never came back to take our order but continued to service the other tables. As a table busser came by, she kindly asked if we needed anything. At that point, we had just decided to take in the views bc it was such a beautiful venue. We felt that our service was clearly not wanted. Then while servicing the middle high top table, one of the male workers came out on the patio and was joking with the girl with the blonde puff. He sat down like a customer and said mockingly “do you guys serve food here”; they both laughed as they went back inside. Upon leaving, the manager (I assume) wished us a good night. I didn’t feel the need to share our experience with him bc there were less than 20 patrons in the restaurant at the time and I didn’t care to stay for anything more that he could have offered.

Overall, a beautiful venue with terrible and unprofessional staff. I could see why someone staying at the hotel would just opt to spend time in the hotel lobby over spending money at the rooftop.

So the atmosphere is a vibe but the table service was absolutely horrible. Mind you paying 94$ for 6 tacos some rice and two drinks is absolutely insane! And if you are going to charge a person that then the least you can do is give a guest good service!!! For start it took our waitress about 10mins to greet us I mean no hello no water no acknowledgment that we were even sitting at the table! About 3mins later we finally get acknowledged and was able to put our food order in and I put in for a drink. During my experience I notice a couple walk in about 20mins after we set in which they got there food about 25mins before we got our food yet we was in the building and set long before this couple got there. I ordered an 2nd drink trying to past the time but yet my server didn’t bring me my drink until 20mins later which is again insane! So I asked her why did the drink take so long she replies oooo I was waiting to put it in until your food come out. I was Completely completely floored at her answer. Like what was the point of me ordering a drink if you are deliberately not going to put the drink in?? Once again the fact that she even came out her mouth and said something of that nature was crazy!! Our food took an hour this is after the waitress communicated that I’ll food with be right out. When I asked her why did the food take so long and that I notice this other couple who got there food before us yet we were there and set long before this couple got there “her response was sometimes the kitchen don’t make the tickets in order”. Mind you she is talking to a person who is in the Industry!! I couldn’t believe her answer!! And normally I don’t even bother leaving a bad review because honestly I know how it be at time. But this experience was not worth the money at all!!! No manager presents seems like this place lack leadership and training. Beautiful Thursday afternoon in the city, so one of my girlfriends wanted to rooftop hop. Treetop being one of the first ones you get to coming out of Maryland, it was a perfect place to start. HH is only at the bar and the patio. Many pre-planned for the day, so most of the tables on the patio were already reserved, so we had to settle for a table inside. And yes, by 6:00 when we arrived, the bar was packed. Though the bar was crowded, the rest of the rooftop was not, so the server was very attentive until she wasn't. About 6:30, the crowd started to come and we are hard pressed to get the server's attention. Fortunately, we had already ordered food and drink. My girlfriend ordered a spicy margarita and then the Paloma. She wasn't impressed with either drink. She also ordered the ceviche, which looked more like shrimp salad due to the cream sauce and the garlic shrimp. She enjoyed the garlic shrimp. I ordered the rockfish tacos and a side of black beans. This wasn't the best food/ drink experience, but it was a cute place with a decent rooftop. Biggest downside, the check has a qr code so you can pay from your phone. The check automatically has 20% gratuity added. However, the qr code adds an additional 20%, so you have to pay attention and ensure you go to custom tip to remove the extra %. I didn't realize it when I had the check split and ended up paying an additional $18. Not sure if I would come back as nothing about this place was spectacular.

Finding this place can prove difficult when following the GPS as it many try to drop tou off on the main drag. Instead turn right on the street just before you approach the hotel and make a left into the alley. Parking is available in the underground lot across the alley. I think the first 2 or 3 hours are free. There are also a few spots for hotel guests in front of the entrance but it's unclear if this includes Treehouse. The chicken tacos were good, though I was disappointed to hear that they no longer had birria tacos and oyster tacos which is why we came in the first place.😒 honestly the edited happy hour menu and views was underwhelming but we made the best of it. Also, I think they need to spray the outside area because the first table we sat at had some insects flying around it plus the table itself was rocky. We moved to a more stable table to be met with a jumping spider later on. We trapped it under plate and informed the waitress, who said she'd get someone else to deal with it but never did. The spider stayed under our plate until we left🫥. I also think the atmosphere would be better if there were some music playing outside and inside. The best thing about this place was the dessert dish I had [see pics].
