I received a pair of earrings from here as a gift and went to exchange them for a different style. After checking with the manager, the sales associate told me that I couldn't do any returns or exchanges, which their website clearly says they allow. I told the associate that I knew it wasn't her personal decision and left. But after walking out, I pulled up the e-receipt shared with me and saw it didn't say anything about no returns or exchanges, and I hadn't seen it noted anywhere in the store either. I went back inside and asked the manager if the policy was noted anywhere and she said yes, on the receipt, and also said the earrings had been worn, showing me one post bent about two millimeters. She kept pointing at a paper receipt others in-store had signed for their unrelated charm necklace purchases waiting to be put together. I told her all I had was the emailed receipt. She looked at me and said "so it was a gift but you have a receipt?" maybe thinking I was lying before I said the buyer had simply emailed it to me. Once she finally looked at the receipt on my phone and saw it didn't say anything about a return/exchange policy, she said "Oh. Even so it's damaged and obviously worn." I said "I understand what you're saying but I swear to you these haven't been worn." After a bit more back and forth, I just said I understood and left.
I completely accept that the damage she was referencing probably did happened accidentally after purchase, and I know the manager was just doing her job. But the damage was genuinely a small bend in the post that I could have quickly fixed if noticed. This seemed like a moment for some flexibility, especially given the lack of clarity about the rules. To make matters worse, I emailed to share my experience and hopefully get some help, and the owner kindly responded apologizing and saying she would "gladly handle this." But she then went completely silent - her only response was almost two months ago now. Responding and then disappearing is just rude and frustrating.
I'm disappointed because I've been a long-time supporter and admirer, but the dramatization of the damage, the lack of clarity about exchanges and the lack of follow through in communications is just really...
Read moreI had such an amazing time here! The staff were incredibly helpful and cooperative from start to finish — they made the entire experience smooth and enjoyable. My best friend chose to do candle making while I created some beautiful jewelry, and we both had such a great time working on our own unique projects. The setup was perfect for both activities, and the guidance we received made it even better. I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a fun, creative experience. Whether you're going solo, with friends, or even as a group activity, it's a perfect way to spend your time. 10/10 — we’ll...
Read moreCute concept, but honestly not worth what they charge. The charms are definitely not worth what they charge for them, and they didn’t have a very good selection of silver options. My necklace was also poorly assembled, the jump rings were misshapen and some were not fully closed. You’re probably just better off going to Micheal’s and doing it yourself. I just ended up scrapping the whole thing and using the chain to make...
