The owner of this location Scot C. Moore is incredibly unhelpful and unprofessional. I placed a order through the app Monday July 11th at his location by mistake. Once I realized the error I immediately contacted the store to inform them and request a refund because again it was a error and I never picked up the order. The store instructed me to report it through the app that they couldn’t issue a refund. No problem I did as instructed. I received a email from the store owner Scot that evening stating he was forwarded my info and to give him more details because he’s not sure what I’m expecting. I replied to the email again explaining I made a order at his location by mistake and wanted a refund, he never responded back. After contacting him again Wednesday about it he told me to contact corporate as he wasn’t going to be rushed. It is now Thursday and I still not been refunded from a incident that occurred Monday. I recently stopped by the Brookland location after walking through the nearby farmers market and was pleasantly surprised. There were just a couple of people ahead of me, and the staff was fast, efficient, and genuinely friendly. The café itself was spotless, which immediately set a great tone.
One thoughtful detail that stood out was that they brought the drink directly out to me with a straw. It is a small gesture, but it made the experience feel more personal, especially for a franchise spot.

Your employees are all standing hovering the register looking and joking around with each other while frustrated customers wait.Good customer service goes a long ways and will keep your business open. I love that it is black owned, but make sure your employees show pride in the black owned location. I Ordered online twice and my order was not ready based on the time I was given. The wraps are not good because the vegetables are soggy and not fresh. I had the crunchy disgusting ends of the lettuce not the actual lettuce leaves in my wrap, and the chicken is over cooked.
