This small cafe sits across from Le Enfant plaza. This small deli features many deli favorites, but also paninis, salads, and even a number of breakfast items. One grabs their chips, drink, and then orders from a large eclectic menu above the register. I went with the chicken avocado sandwich, which had chicken, avocado, tomato, and just a slight spicy sauce. I also grabbed a nice carrot cake muffin and a pack of chips. Everything was great and the service was very fast. There is some indoor seating but this place is fairly popular and fills up fast during lunch. There are plenty of places within a couple of blocks though that offer a view and historical context - so you will be fine. Good quality - definitely recommend.

My family and I ordered couple of bagels, and breakfast plates. I personally ordered the western omelet, my older son got the breakfast plate, and my wife and other son got 2 bagels with cream cheese. Taste wise, everything is good, we enjoyed our meal, what really stood out was the price. The previous day, we had Star Bucks, 4 drinks and 2 croissant which came out to around $60. Here, we had breakfast for around $30 and 2 of the plates are fresh cooked meals and tasted great. The food tasted so good, I only remember to take a picture of it 1/2 way done. While the place was small, there were at least 3 tables to sit larger family of 4 to 6.

The ingredients are well distributed on the bread, not just lumped together, and the sauce and toppings are appropriately proportioned. There are lots of options, not just on the menu but also on the snack shelves.

I love this cafe. Really feel so lucky to find this deli to enjoy delicious meal and so friendly services with relatively cheap price compared to other restaurant around DC while while traveling for cherry blossom. This cafe was kind of busy when we got there, but we got served fast enough for so delicious Bulgoggi, with the Korean BBQ sauce. Finding a good restaurant and enjoying a great meat are not always easy when traveling. Most of the time while traveling, it is a kind of new normal to come to being disappointed when it comes to a meal. But this deli cafe was a small pleasure we found. Next time if we have another chance to travel DC. we will definitely come and...
