Total Fright — Local services in Washington

Total Fright has everything when it comes to finding costumes, makeup, accesories, etc.. One thing that can be confusing and disturbing is DEPENDING ON THE ENTRANCE of UNDERGROUND PARKING can be " CRAZzy" at Crystal City Shops. Trying to find the correct entrance to park near the desired store can be nuts. Trying to find the correct end of the shops or locating where you need to park to get to the entrance of the shops can be diffucult.. Especially if you're unfamiliar with the parking lot. Better signs would be helpful, besides seeing orange and red signs with g2 etc. I noticed people having difficulty locating or returning to their cars because they are lost once they exit the shops. Mall patrol should be available or better signs for customers who are unfamiliar with this location. Maybe they'll upgrade, once Amazon move into the neighborhood. That'll definately cause some changes to take place...

I’m not one to write reviews but my experience to get into the shoes with my child was trash! I wanted to support a smaller costume shop and that didn’t happen. The man at the door was controlling who was going in but let in people without bags. I let him know I had my purse and he had me wait in line. Okay, cool. I wanted with my child and the man in front of me was able to keep his backpack on his back with him throw the store but I was advised to leave my purse up front. My purse is a tote bag and I told him this was my purse. He kept telling me to take my purse out. I opened my bag up and let him know the bag is a purse. He proceeds to tell me my purse has my money and cards in it. I left as I was not leaving my purse in front of the store yet people kept bookbags....

I never post reviews, but my experience at this store was so negative that I feel obligated to give it a one-star review. The store’s policy is extremely backward and shows that they don’t care about their customers. They have a two costume try-on limit, so I would not recommend buying anything without trying it on. They will not exchange the costume for a different size or allow a return, even if it’s unworn, you have the receipt, and it’s been less than 48 hours. I cannot...
