Caribou Coffee — Restaurant in Watauga

Caribou, you are a delight. Trip number three today. Ordered on the app with ease. By the time I arrived, I couldn't remember if I selected drive thru or walk up. I like to walk up because I bring my dog for a pup cup and he barks too much during drive thru. As I was walking up with my dog in tow, this delightful man pops he head out the window with my coffee and the pup cup in each hand and says my name with a smile. What? Can the rest of my day be this great? I'm trying to make it a weekly thing, but honestly, I may be back tomorrow. Note: the parking lot sucks! But that is not Caribou's fault really as they inherited this crappy parking lot. Just be warned that the parking does not make sense. If you have been there, you know what I mean. I literally love Caribou! I’m a teller and they bank with us so I see them quite often at my bank, but also I come by and get coffee here all the time now! Literally it’s so addicting. Evan the store manager is sweet and all his staff is so personable and kind. They always have smiles on their faces and are happy to see people coming through the drive thru. My favorite drink is the caramel highrise, regular and almond milk are both excellent. I also had a sausage cheddar biscuit, which was to die for. The biscuit was so buttery and crumbly and everything tasted hot and fresh. As a girl that doesn’t go to Starbucks anymore I felt like I didn’t have a regular coffee shop but now I found my new coffee home! So I had been to this location before and it was great. But I just so happened to go by there a second time, and I went past and saw Evan Brown, and I also saw the GM, I didn't get to catch his name. But they were both polite. They were handing out samples and the samples were great. Also, my food is Gray. I had a Waffle sandwich and I also had a iced oat milk coffee. Both delicious and then I got something from my mother. She had the lumberjack and the the turtle beach hot coffee. Both of them are great. I highly recommend this location and sure enough.
