The biggest problem with this restaurant or wherever I enter any restaurant location is that o seem I'm going back to the racist old days where in front of the restaurant would say-----WHITES ONLY---++I get sarcastic looks from the staff and especially from the racist environment of the people who constantly giving you that evil stares.I always get my order wrong,the main reason of this sarcastic and racist FRANKIES.If your colored or of a different color of skin and you want to eat at FRANKIES expect to receive a lot of racial stares from the staff and especially from the racist customers that FRANKIES tend to target because of their weird restaurant locations where they obviously their are hardly no people of color are living.FRANKIES needs to really change their behavior with people of color if they want to stay open,because i think this racist restaurant will close its doors I think in the long run in the future because of racial issues I experience every time I enter only...

This place is pretty much an institution in the area. Everything is good. There are burgers, clam strips, onion rings and a lot more, but hot dogs are the star. The original Frankie's was a hot dog joint (this is not the original location which had no indoor seating, it's one of several satellite locations they now operate) and the focus here is still on hot dogs. You can order special dogs with cheese and chili and such, but I always get just the regular dog which is great. It's a great tasting long dog that you can dress up yourself with any combination of mustard, chopped raw onions, saurkraut, and their famous spicy red pepper relish. I don't come here very often but if I'm jonesing for a great hot dog this is my go to place. And if you're in the area from some other state (and hot dogs are very regional in style), this is a place to try Connecticut style...

Every time I have visited or ordered from Frankie's I have a pleasant experience. I work early in the morning (6 am) early. They are always open. When I order it's multiple orders. They don't usually make a mistake and if they do they will fix it if you call and let them know. I have never had a problem with them fixing an order that was prepared wrong or missing something. They are very great. They offer a dine-in experience or if your in a rush you can order and go. They have great food. No, their food is awesome. I've tried so many different dishes from there. Everyone has been amazing. Their soup selection changes daily but you can call and ask what kind of soup they have today and they no problem letting you know. The staff there is great.
