McDonald's — Restaurant in Waterbury

Every now and then I have to go to McDonald's for a quick bite to eat. I usually get their filet of fish during lunch or for breakfast I order the sausage egg and cheese biscuit. Lately I have been in the area of the Chase Avenue McDonald's. DO NOT GO THERE! They just do not give a damn. Even their manager is like one of the kids working their. They are all in la la land. No one really seems to want to work their. If the manager cannot set a good example then why should the employees? They do not even get your order right more than half the time. One time they gave me two filet of fishes that were left over from the night before and reheated and served to me the next day at around 11 am. I was probable the first one that day to order lunch so I was the unfortunate one to get the left over fish from the night before reheated. It was very very obvious too. I marched right back up to the counter and cut in front of the line of people and showed them both to the girl behind the counter and when she got the manager, the manager took them both from me immediately and got me two new ones. Never apologized to me, Never explained to me how that could have happened. It was almost as if she knew they were doing that in the back of the kitchen and was hoping to get away with it. UNBELIEVABLE. The customers behind me all saw the sandwiches and agreed they were from the night before. How embarrassed the manager should have been, but instead it seemed like common practice. As far as my breakfast experiences, I never seem to get the cheese on my sandwich, I always have to go back and have them correct my order. Good thing I didn't go through the drive through, I would probably not have driven back to correct it otherwise. A couple of times the gave me a sausage egg and cheese on a english muffin instead of the biscuit I ordered. I just ate them anyways. Didn't want to go up and wait in the line again. Another time they gave me bacon instead of sausage on my sandwich. I still ate it because I figured since I was such a regular there and I was always at the counter asking for them to correct things each time I go, I was afraid they would just get so mad at me for complaining they might decide to spit in my reordered food. I wouldn't put it past some of the staff I have seen working there. Not worth taking the chance. I don't think many people will read review on McDonald's, but if you do, Do Not Go To The Chase...

I deliver for UberEats, but usually finish up by 9 or 10pm. Tonight Uber was having a late night driver promotion so I decided to give it a go, forgetting that when the lobby is closed you have to pick up the order from the dreaded drive thru. I get an order around 1230am, and pull up to see only 3 cars ahead of me so I figure it won't be that bad. 10 minutes go by & not ONE of those 3 cars has moved yet. 15 minutes later I get to the intercom, where a voice comes over the speaker telling me to wait. When she finally comes back I tell her I'm picking up for Uber. "Uuuuuber???", she asks, sounding like she's never even heard the word before. Finally, she tells me to pull to the last window. A window that takes another 10-15 minutes to get to. FINALLY she hands me a bag of food then immediately disappears......right away I realize that it's NOT the right order, but she's run away & it takes another several minutes before she comes back for me to tell her. She LAUGHS about it & tells me to pull into a parking spot to wait for the right one because it's not ready yet (at this point I've been waiting over 40 minutes......HOW is it not ready yet??). Spoiler alert: I'm stuck waiting in the parking spot another 10 minutes before someone finally brings out the correct order. FINALLY I'm on my way to deliver - I text the customer an apology, explaining that late night pickup is often very slow. Immediately after drop off (which didn't happen until 145am thanks to this garbage drive thru) I get a thumbs down rating saying that "delivery took too long". Long story short - NEVER use this place for late night drive thru unless you enjoy sitting in your car & not going anywhere for over an hour. And especially not if you're the one getting RATED on how...

Waited to about 10 minutes in-front of the register to place my order now the place was empty there was no line. Then I place my order the girl was really helpful and nice. I waited over 20 minutes to get my order food was ok. After that I when in to order again I guess the person who took my order was the manager I don’t know to be honest (skinny, tall, and wears glasses) was so rude!!!! After that he goes back to joke around with his coworkers when one of his coworkers tells him that they still hadn’t gave the drive thru order and he said “ oh we should spit on it” the girl just laugh but he kept saying “do it do it” to be honest I found that gross and I couldn’t even finish my food because I kept thinking that he might of done that to my food. I don’t care if he was joking around with his coworkers I get it, but to say that when you have customers in the register and the people from the drive thru had to come in to get their food that doesn’t look good. I don’t know if they did spit on the smoothie or not but I just find that disturbing that he actually said that and makes me think that he has done it before.
