Burger King — Restaurant in Waterford Township

Derailed from the start. My total was $5.27. I handed the cashier $21.02. She hands me back change for $20 and gives me the $1.02 separately. So, I'm looking at her holding 5 singles, 3 quarters, and 5 pennies (after I combine them for her). I ask if she can give me a $5 bill and a nickel. She said she cannot, I gave her too much and she can only make change for a $20. Got it...incapable of any math or understanding of money.

I watched as the timer on my order goes to 2 min, 3 min, ... while the orders for the drive through go down to less than a minute. At one point, the order in the drive thru is placed and served while I wait. My order is only waiting on fries but I watch as they put fries in a bag for the drive thru. They finally give me my order, but I noticed they grab a bag from the top shelf and put the fries in it an hand it to me. I asked, wait, that was the bag from the top shelf, sooooo my sandwiches sat there? The guy handing me the bag says, "no it's not." ...hmm, flat lie to my face. I check the sandwiches...room temp.

Back to the girl who said, "we were just waiting on your fries." Again, WTH! I had to point out, "Well, I watched you hand out fries over and over to the drive through. Not sure how you could forget me since I was standing here watching my order time go up on your monitor there in red while the drive thru went to under a min."

Give who likely was the manager gets props for remaking the sandwiches...

Went here because sign on the side of the business read "Lobby Open". I had some time to waste before meeting someone a few miles away. I park, I walk up to the door... Locked, "shocker" I think to myself. Why do so many of these restaurants have huge lobby open signs only to have the doors locked? I reluctantly ended up going through the drive through, my past I don't know how many experiences with Burger Kings' drive through and yes thats with an "s" have been awful. The one at duck lake on 59, horrible the one next to Lakeland Ice arena, horrible. I order my breakfast combo, pay for it, get my food, check its actually correct (that has been one of my major issues at the other locations) drive away. Pull out my croissant sandwich, what do you know the cheese is not melted (like EVERY sandwich, burger, chicken, or breakfast doesnt matter) I have not had a burger king sandwich with melted cheese in idk... 3+ years and I have been to BK no less then 20 times. When made correctly their breakfast sandwiches are great. Take a bite... cold, no not just isnt HOT the egg is cold. My wifes was the same way. We arrived at Burger King a few minutes after 11 pm, store was supposedly open until 1 AM. We waited behind two other cars for over 20 minutes and when we arrived at the speaker we were told “I’m sorry we can only take orders if it’s DoorDash “! I thought I misunderstood her so I said ,”I’d like to place an order”, to which they responded , “I said we can only take orders if it’s DoorDash.”! If your store is open until 1 AM, why can’t you take orders until 1 o’clock? We left the drive-through line at 11:27 without any food. This Burger King is also notorious for having the lobby locked middle of the day and they don’t even have the courtesy to put a drive-through only sign up in the door so that you don’t get out and walk to the door to find out that despite the fact that you have unloaded your handicap child who’s in a wheelchair, the lobby is locked and so you must reload the child and go through the drive-through! When I pointed this out to the manager he was offended and told me that the doors were only locked for a few minutes, so there was no need for a sign...
