This place is my favorite place to bring my 2 and 4 year old on those nights where your just too tired to get the dinner train rilling at home because the food is fun, great, portion sized, and when your done you go get ice cream at the Carvel wing. Kids can be louder and have fun without bothering people because everyone is tyoically in the same boat as you. I only gave a 3 star for the atmosphere because it doesn't have much for indoors but if you are eating there you know what you're getting. Wear a coat in the winter, though because the door opens right to the outside, and traffic makes for cold breezes. Theu do always decprate for the upcoming holiday which my kids always love to point out. When ordering, make sure you scan the add-on menu carefully, or you're only going to get what you asked for, i.e.. hamburger is just that, patty and bread. You have to tell them what toy want on it, which is all prominently displayed, but for a first timer, you may learn the hard way. The kids working the place are almost always very friendly. I always get excited when we decide on a night at G's because I know I'm going to get a good burger with exactly what I want, a reeses peanut butter cup carvel-anche, and no dishes...
Read moreThe family and I had been going to the Carvel located here forever. When they announced they were putting in a burger joint as well, I was a bit skeptical to say the least. But it's a great location with a great reputation, so I figured that even if it wasn't so good, they'd still do ok. As it turns out, it IS good, really REALLY good. Everything here is, and tastes fresh, that's the key. The burgers taste like you cooked them on your back porch, and the hand cut fries are just simply outstanding. Food is cooked to order, and we've never waited more than 6 or 7 minutes for it to be ready. Granted, you'll sometimes get your food quicker at a fast food chain, but the extra few minutes you'll wait at G's is well worth it. There is no comparison as far as freshness and quality goes, and the prices are more than reasonable for the portions they serve. And if you still have room when you're done, you can walk 20 feet and get an ice cream at the Carvel counter. 9/10 for G's Burgers, great business plan and amazing food...
Read moreThis was technically my second time at G's Burgers. The first time I came I only had ice cream from the Carvel side.
The burger was decent, it had pretty average flavor.and juiciness. I did like that it didn't ooze all over the place, but was also not dry like a brick of beef.
The fries tasted nice and fresh, with a good crispness to them (no mushiness).
I did like their Pepsi machine that was similar to the Coke Freestyle machines, although I think Pepsi could do with more flavor addin selections.
The cashier was very pleasant and seemed like she enjoyed interacting with people.
Overall a decent experience that I would recommend if you are looking for a burger fix and want something better than those McDonalds or Burger...
