I'm not a complainer but I ordered a western ommlet it came to me and I was expecting a traditional ham peppers and onions the first problem was there was no ham second problem was they used caned peppers strips and the onions were fried third problem was the egg was cooked before they added the ingredients so when I received it it looked like a taco folded over it was terrible homefries were like eating boiled potatoes and no flavor asked for italan toast they were out of it so asked White toast it came burnt no butter so now I don't say anything because if you can't make eggs they have a problem I picked at it left three quarters on plate but my biggest concern is that the place is old and dirty sticky tables front Windows were filthy the carpets also see the way I look at it is they will never see me again and it wasn't cheap to say the least if you want the best breakfast around go to East Gate restaurant in Waterbury they are clean fast and they have great...
Read moreWent on Sunday to try to support a local business. Paid almost $20 for two bacon egg and cheeses because of double bacon. The bread was soft not even lightly toasted, the bacon was not crispy and not double for sure. Granted they were busy but for almost $10 a piece beyond disappointed there were bites with zero bacon. The eggs were delicious, way too cheesy especially for "double" bacon. I do not know how to respond to the owner so adding here. Yes I ordered double bacon as far as the sourdough I was told that was the standard bread used for the breakfast and not told it was an additional charge. Read moreFood was real good , tasty, we had a 3 egg omelette with ham aged cheddar spinach and mushrooms, shredded hash brown potatoes which was a nice option and Italian toast which we found to be a nice offering I know not everybody offers that The other breakfast we had was a special it was pumpkin bread french toast with cinnamon butter which was phenomenal, especially if you have a sweet tooth ! It was actually a real treat . We also had a couple of large orange juices.... Biggest surprise was that the bill was under $20 nowadays it's almost unheard of.
