Johnnie's Pizza & Wings — Restaurant in Watertown

I can't say enough good things about this lovely shop! I live in the neighborhood and I order and pick up a to-go at this shop nearly every day since I discovered it half a month ago. So far everything I bought from this shop, I love it. The crews are friendly and hardworking, very easy to work with.

What I love most is - they have the BEST Gluten-Free pizza in the world! If you are sensitive to gluten like I am and you like pizza, please do yourself a favor and give it a try. Yes, there are tons of pizza shops making GF pizzas - using pre-made flimsy and boring and rigid crust, but this one is different. Johnnie's GF pizza totally blew me away. The crust is so plump and fresh (I guess they made the dough freshly by themself?), the sauce is just right (not too salty like a lot other pizza shops'), the bacon is thick sliced, and I was amazed by their eggplant topping! I was super excited when eating and I thanked god for letting me find such phenomenal GF pizza after becoming sensitive to gluten a few years ago. STRONGLY RECOMMEND! Remember, eat right away, don't leave it overnight, 'cuz the second morning you won't like the crust's texture - that's unfortunately the unavoidable problem for most GF dough product.

What I loved most before I tried their GF pizza were the wings. I like buffalo hot flavor but I strongly suggest trying the original (or they call "plain"), and make sure you eat right away. Very crispy (I know, there might be a little flour there, I hope my body can tolerate it), with moderate mouth-watering scent of thoroughly-fried chicken fat, and the thing is - these wings are huge! Take a bite and you get great sense of content! LOL! Again, don't wait till they cool down, eat right away!

One thing I like most about their salads is the 4 pieces of roasted potatoes on top. OMG, they are 4 pieces of art... Every time after the first try when I ordered their salads, I wanted to ask if I could double the potatoes, but the man who cooks the potatoes sounded (and looked) serious so I hadn't got the gut to ask. I highly suspect eventually there would be one day when I finally can't resist the temptation of the "art" and can't help asking. LOL!!

Just wish more things on their menu could be made GF, and no black-out days for GF pizzas.

Johnnie's Pizza & Smokehouse is an absolute gem! Usually when a casual place like this tries to add too many items to the menu the quality suffers, but not at Johnnie's! The owner just recently convinced me to try the wings and his ribs, and I was literally blown away that they could be this good.

Their ribs are literally better than the local Blue Ribbon Barbeque in Newton.

My goal is to try everything on the menu. I have checked about 10 off the list at this point and every one of them is mouth watering good.

Don't listen to the high maintenance reviews on how he handles you during a delivery. He and his wife put their heart and soul into this business and it comes out in their delicious food. They typically only have 2 people working at once so realize he is likely trying to multi-task.

I am also a business owner and realize all walks of life cross your path where you can't please everyone, and most people typically write a review only when they have a bad experience. Realize this place has a 1,000+ happy customers that just haven't arrived here on Google to share their experience.

Don't hesitate to go to Johnnie's! Their pizza and everything on their menu is also 25% less in cost compared to every other competitor, and their food is 10X better.

I had a ribs feast last night that was $10, and included an incredible romaine lettuce salad with fresh vegetables, and a huge dish of delicious rice. I feel like I am robbing the place, but the strategy works because the price also has me going back multiple times a week. Put Johnnie's into your consistent rotation! Thank you Johnnie's for being an A++...

Jhonny’s is the Best place around in the Watertown area. Don’t listen to all these negative reviews about the place.

My favorite Sub is the Chicken Parmesan, they always add extra chicken and cheese the sauce is on point I’ve try this sub and there’s no place that does it better than Jhonny’s.

Potatoes Steak Wrap. No lie the potatoes steak wrap here at Jhonny’s can filled up 2 people, like literally it’s so stacked up that after you finished eating it you just wanna take a nap after your belly is so full lolz.

Pizza. Any pizza you order it’s a 10/10 like my kids drive me crazy once’s the weekend come with “ Hey Dad can you please order from your friends pizza place” I recommend Cheese cuz I’m super simple but any specialty pizza Johnny kills it.

Wings. The wings here are the Best around literally. My favorite one’s are BBQ & Buffalo. The wings are the trade mark of Jhonny’s before you take your 2nd bite the meat is out the bone 🤣🤣🤣 I enjoy every single moment of BBQ wings. Plus they are the biggest wings by far.

Ohh by the way when you become close with Jhonny and Rula, they’ll do some special plate outside of the menu like for example Jhonny’s does these pork chops that’s are insane good.

These guys are great people, they are good people, honest and hard working people, they go beyond your need to try to satisfy you. They are great part of the community. I recommend Jhonny’s any day of the week you will not be disappointed...
