Subway — Restaurant in Watsonville

Service is horrible. Only the older lady was the nice one and quick taking orders. Younger girl had this attitude with me from the start and I let her be. But when I saw the receipt and got charged for some juices that according to the little girl working there was included in the kids meal, I went back to ask politely. She then wants to say I asked for the juices. Previously I asked what are my options of drinks and she stated the juices or milk. On receipt it said the meals included 20oz drinks. All I wanted to do was return juices and get what the meal came with. She made a big fuss still giving us attitude rolling her eyes and all. Telling us she can’t do it she needs her bosses approval. Anyways long story short, the boss which is the owner is also unprofessional. All of a sudden she came from the back telling us to calm down when in the end all I wanted was a refund because they are all rude and I wasn’t going to deal with them anymore. This was my 2nd time ever going to this location and I promise you both times the rudeness of these girls I swear is not ok! But hey what can you expect when the owner is the same just better...

Clean & comfortable if the weather isn't too hot, no A/C but has ceiling fans. Plenty of seating & booths. Their bathroom is perpetually "out of order". They accept EBT graciously, the menu variety is extensive and generous. There are "Meal deals of the day" ($6.99, posted & advertised but the sandwich technicians don't go out of their way to promote it, but will if you ask about it). Using EBT, you must inform the sandwich tech BEFORE you order, they'll explain so it goes smoothly. Overall service is thoughtful & quick, continue to go there for lunch & dinner. Note, weekdays lunchtimes are VERY crowded due to school students eating there, get there before noon...

I ordered a steak and egg foot long. The employee misunderstood me and made a steak sandwich instead. I didn't catch it till we were at the register. One is $6, the other is $9. They rang me up for the 9, and I pointed to the sign with the correct price. The employee told me they made the wrong sandwich. I asked her to add the egg and she said she couldn't. I asked her to ring up the price of the item I ordered and she said she couldn't. Apparently her mistake is my problem.
