I personally like arbeys because you can get gluten-free food here if you know the right questions to ask. Example I always get the turkey and Swiss sandwich. However without the bread, And I use the lettuce to wrap the turkey lettuce tomato onion instead. As long as they switch their gloves before handling the food and choose from the bottom of the pile of cheese, meats, ect, the likelihood of cross contamination is slim to none. The spicy mustard that comes with the sandwich is gluten free, along with the honey mustard. So If you have celiacs keep this tip handy because it's nice to be able to grab something on the go especially when traveling. I would only recommend the fresh deli meats and not anything grilled like the burgers or chicken. No fries no bread. But a lettuce wrapped sandwich full of delicious fresh deli meat/veggies/cheese/sauce, is still very tasty and worth it. The one thing I would ask is that they do not charge us for the full sandwich or the full meal when we do not get the fries or the bread. That's my number one concern with places that have to accommodate for gluten free versus already have the option for gluten-free. We shouldn't have to pay The same amount other is pay if we're getting less of the product. A very simple solution to this problem and I'm hoping Arby's that you're listening, is that you have a 5% or 10% code available for your cashier's to ring up For those who cannot get the full meal (like me) so that more people with Celiac's would feel comfortable and also respected when eating their more often. Like with my shop. If somebody wants to purchase a crystal necklace but it just so happens they're allergic to the chain and they only want the pendant, I don't charge them for both. When you have an allergy it should be treated fairly because an allergy is not a choice. So Arby's, Subway and All the other fast food restaurants need to listen up...to understand that we want to enjoy going out to eat, just like other people, but when you charge us for what we don't actually purchase from you, like. The bread on a sandwich, Then we should not be charged for it. It's bad enough that we have to trust that your workers will change their gloves and actually respect our individual needs, but I want that part where we ring up from now on to change. I'm a businesswoman myself and I can itemize how much that bread cost, It's nice wholesome bread, But I'm not taking it from you and that can go towards another sandwich so don't charge celiacs anymore than what we actually purchase. Then you'll see a lot more people being brave enough to come in. And why don't you have a menu stating under each item when you walk in what you have available and what a combination you can do for the celiac community and the price adjustment as well. I can promise you that somebody who is not celiacs will go for the full meal because we miss good tasting bread we miss fries, We miss those foods. anyone without an allergy isn't going to choose the cheaper version they're going to choose to get the whole meal. You're not losing any money but your gaming upcoming major health concern where many people are developing celiacs. To get ahead with what is inevitable, You can offer a separate fryer that is used only for gluten free fries and other gluten-free product. But you could at least offer gluten free bread for your sandwiches. That's easier to do. Which is why I am very disturbed with Subway all the fresh ingredients all of which is gluten free, And no gluten-free bread. Arby's I beg you step up and represent the celiac community with some respect, And I promise you you're going to see your sales go up...
Read moreThe lobby is finally open. Can't believe they were closed for 3 years. I refused to go there while they didn't offer dine in but I've been to other Arby's that were.
Avoid the sliders because they just aren't worth it. The fries are pretty good and the chicken and brisket choices are good too. I took off 1 star because the sizes of the sandwiches and fries were smaller than expected. It was nice to try the premium sandwiches once but I won't order them again because they are too expensive. I'll stick to promos like the 2 for 7 and other coupons if I'm going to eat here. The staff was really nice and the order was done pretty fast the few times I've been in. I spent $16 / visit on average the last 5 visits. Even though the food is good I still don't think it's a good value.
The cost of fast food is outrageous now at all places and you can sometimes find better deals at sit down restaurants. Consider that if you have extra time to spare. Plus fast food that isn't...
Read moreThree ways to look at this. The franchise, and this site.
The franchise has a nice variety of food, to me. Great ratio of protein to carb, low(er) carb options, if you want to pig out on high carb junk food at least what they have tastes good to make it worth it. I like arbys sauce. Arbys is the slowest fast food but faster than sit down fast food like Culvers, all arbys are like this.
This site is convenient and competent. The franchise food is correctly prepared reasonably quickly (well, "quickly" for an Arbys) and fresh. Its cleaner than the average restaurant (yet not an operating room). The location is extremely close to all the north-west waukesha retail, and easy I-94 access, so its very convenient part of a days shopping or whatever.
Overall I like this place...
