The food I ordered tonight was the worst food I have ever gotten from any Culver's location in my entire life. In fact, the food and custard at this location has gotten increasingly worse over the past few months and I'm not sure why...I've lived in the area for a few years and it only recently has plummeted.
Tonight I ordered a pub burger basket and a dish of the flavor of the day and a turtle sundae. I did try this burger once before and it was delicious. I waited for 15 minutes in the parking lot for my food to be brought out. I live less than 5 minutes away and drove right home. My burger was cold...like it had been sitting out for a number of hours. I could tell the cheese on it had been melted at one point but had since cooled and hardened. I did order a single patty but it was so thin that it looked like one of the single patties was cut in half and cooked but then was scraped off the grill...it had like a crust on it as if the meat was smeared real thin on the grill. My fries were also cold and had so much salt on them that I couldn't stand it. From working in the foodservice industry I know that just means the fries had been made quite a while before and then salt just kept being added. I would like to know why I had to wait 15 minutes if my food was already done and cold? I would always expect fresh food to be made but especially if I had to wait for it.
Another thing that I've noticed the staff who brings the food out doing is holding dishes of ice cream and other things tipped forward as the carry them. They don't hold them upright. When they deliver the custard the dish looks so messy and gross because it's melted and gotten all on the lid and just looks like they don't care. This has happened to me a number of times over the past two months.

Read moreI am a long time supporter of Culver's. I have traveled the US and as Culver's branched out, I was always excited to have my hometown favorite. As time has passed, and Culver's has grown, it has become obvious that upholding the brand's quality has started to go to the wayside. The further from Wisconsin you get, the worse the food and experience get. Because of this reason I am really holding this restaurant to the highest expectation and putting them on notice in an effort to prevent the degradation from occurring here at home.
The attention to detail and getting the order correct has failed for me on multiple occasions now. I pay for bacon, I expect bacon. I specify add ketchup, I expect ketchup. We wait in line at this sometimes overburdened location and pay top dollar in terms of fast food, only to get home and find a bag full of disappointment. Retrain, realign your staff to your vision, and follow up frequently. I've been disappointed by this location too frequently lately. Please fix.
And frankly, the responses here directing people to your corporate website are patronizing and offputting. You are a hometown franchise, act like you are part of this community that supports you and reach out to people.. don't just treat them like a drive through number posted to the side mirror. Read moreI am a culvers regular to the extreme. I go to culvers twice a week. I have been eating at culvers since I was a child. I am from Wisconsin born and raised...and Culver's is my place. I am so disappointed in this location I don't even know where to begin.
Sadly, I live down the road from this location and I will drive to Brookfield just to get quality food and quality customer service. Numerous times I have called and walked into this location to speak to management. Not only do they have poor customer service but their employees are beyond rude. I have to go out of my way to be friendly to them every time.
I cannot remember a time where I ate at this location and the food was hot or made the way that I ordered it. I am finally writing a review on this location because when the weather is brutally bad outside and due to circumstances beyond my control I have to go there… I still get bad service. Nothing has changed over the past two years and I thought it was time to say something.
When you call management, politely go inside to speak to them, and nothing changes it's time to write a review.
I will continue to drive over 20 minutes plus to get quality service in other cities. I really hope you guys turn this around so that you get your local...
