I rarely write reviews but this place deserved it. WOW- mind blown by the quality and tastiness of this place! My husband and I would label ourselves "foodies" and we very rarely get wowed by places anymore. That changed today! Started with lime margaritas, salsa, and bean dip 10/10. Ended up getting another margarita as it was 2 for 1- great size and flavor. My husband had Tio's burrito- size of his forearm and freaking delicious. Every bite was great, he even commented he never normally notices the rice but this rice was something else so good. I had the Fajita VeraCruz and wow again. Portion was huge, every meat was tender and juicy and flavorful. Packed with shrimp, veggies were perfect and so fresh. Pico 10/10, guacamole so creamy and fresh, rice flavorful and addicting. First time ordering take out from this place and I am so pleasantly surprised by their generous portion sizes. They do not skimp out on this whatsoever. My only criticism was that the flavors were more subtle and inconsistent than other Mexican places. The taco meat was a bit on the salty side and the birria soup was not salty at all. The flavors also seemed muted in contrast with others I've had. The rice tasted great. That said, the subtle flavor are balanced with the variety of delicious sauces they offered free of charge. EVERYTHING was amazing!! I have a Mexican restaurant in my town, which I love. I compare everything to that restaurant. This was the FIRST restaurant that gave my place a run for its money and is possibly my new FAVORITE Mexican restaurant!! The salsa that came with the chips was excellent. It also came with beans to dip the chips in. My son and I both dislike beans, but he tried them from here and LOVED them. I ordered the Tios Burrito, which was HUGE and will feed me for days.
