It is a bizzare and nonsensical choice for an aesthetic display and whether intentional or unintentional, is a form of social entrapment. To directly scold and embarrass a customer for utilizing such furniture alienates and puts a sour taste in your guests, especially those in the higher spending margin. It turns on its head the longstanding bussiness practice convention of “the customer is always right" a long-standing motto which exhorts service staff to give a high priority to customer comfort and satisfaction. It was popularised by pioneering and successful retailers such as Harry Gordon Selfridge, John Wanamaker and Marshall Field during a golden age of commerce in our country. They advocated that customer complaints and reasonable requests should be treated seriously so that customers do not feel cheated, deceived, resented, or ill-treated. I travelled over an hour with my dad to the store and we were not disappointed. Fantastic shop with a great selection. Both of the owners were working and were helpful in making recommendations. Staff were fantastic as well. On the drive back home, my dad and I decided we should have ordered an additional suit. My dad called the store and they said they would extend their sale after it would expire if we wanted to purchase more suits. In a world filled with men’s warehouses, do yourself a favor and go to a local men’s store and support them. I’m looking forward to going back and making many more purchases in the future.
