Firstly I just want to say that I love this location, been coming here for a long time and the food has always been great, but I need to let them know that my last experience service wise was sub-par to say the least. The man who took my order must be new or at least that's what I hope. I pulled up and started my order for the #7 combo and as I was still talking he asked what soda I want, which is obviously a good question, but if he let me finish I would have gotten there. I then asked for my side to be cheese curds, and he asked if I wanted a regular size, which I thought was weird, but said yes. He mumbled something, so i waited, and after a couple seconds he told me to pull around, no total or anything. Once I got to the window, paid, and got my food, I noticed the bag was heavier than usual, and I saw there were fries and cheese curds when I looked inside. Annoying, but only a simple mistake. I dug through the bag looking for the receipt, and there wasn't one. When he re-opened the window, I asked for a receipt and he reprinted one, handed it to me, then immediately closed the window on me. I indeed got charged for both sides, so I sat and waited for him to come back again. Once he came back, I told him I only wanted the cheese curds as my side, no fries, and he looked annoyed. He asked me some questions but I didn't really understand what he wanted or what he was asking me. He apparently wanted the fries back, which I thought was annoying but I suppose I didn't want them or want to pay for them so whatever, and I gave them back. He then was asking if I wanted a card refund, but I was confused about what exactly they entailed and he seemed to get more and more frustrated as I got confused. I thought he wanted the receipt back to do the refund, so I gave that to him, but then he said he needed my card, so I gave him that too. He re-charges my card and gives me a whole new receipt for $14, hands it over, and then basically motions for me to leave and shuts the window on me again. I was so confused on what just happened and if my card was basically charged again that I had to go in and double check with some else what he did. Everything was fine in the end, but overall didn't enjoy the service from that particular employee. If he just slowed down and took the time to explain things without being frustrated then it totally would...
Read moreWorst Dairy Queen experience at this location. We decided to treat the family to blizzards and unfortunately it was more of a disaster than a fun treat. First of all, we were the only people in the restaurant at the time. The employees were not friendly and did not seem to be wanting to even be there. The girl that took our order had trouble ringing the order into the register and yelled for another employee to come and help. Another girl came up and annoyingly punched the order into the register. We paid and stepped to the side to wait. While we were waiting, the first employees boyfriend came into the store and she decided to chat with him before making the icecream we were waiting for. It took 20 minutes to make 5 blizzards. Once we sat down to eat, our order wasn't even made correctly. 2 of the blizzards were not made right - One was supposed to be oreo, but it contained peanuts and toffee pieces? While we were seated, we could hear the employees yelling (more like screaming) back and forth to each other while also cussing. Not a great environment for our kids to be in. Will never return to...
Read moreThis location is a dump!! We arrived there and thought the restaurant was closed... it was only 4 p.m. Walking in the door we found all the dining area lights were turned off for whatever reason. They came on and that's when the real experience started. The floors were dank and grey from wear. The veneer on the tables was cracked, as were the padding on the seats. I went to wash my hands and the bathroom was filthy. My first thought was that the employees better wash their hands again when they got into the kitchen... I didn't want to touch that doorknob! The service wasn't impressive. While it was reasonably quick, the place was empty, it was without emotion. The women behind the counter acted as if we were an inconvenience... not rude... just indifferent. The menu was small, much smaller than I remember it being in the past. The quality of the food was the same as any other location I've been... so I can't say it disappointed. Next time I will choose another shop or be certain to use the drive-thru so I can't see the sins being...
