Latest visit: I continue to have problems at this KFC, so it will be the last time I order from here. Menu online says 8-piece fill-up includes 3 large sides -- 2 mashed and 1 coleslaw. I have ordered this fill-up many times in the past, both online and in-person, and it has ALWAYS included 3 large sides.
Today I went in and ordered an 8-piece fill-up. Received only 2 large sides. Was told it only comes with 2 sides and that the online menu is different than in-store menu. Huh? BTW, the receipt said "8-piece meal," which is a different option on the menu and which includes only 2 sides, even though the price is the same as the fill-up.
Also, paid $1 extra for all dark meat, but was given mixed dark and white. So essentially I overpaid $1 for the wrong meat and was shorted 1 large side, valued at $4.99. Done with KFC. They can't get simple orders right.
Prior review: I specifically ordered a Side Lovers Meal (digital only special) rather than the regular 8-piece meal so that I could pick any 3 large sides. Ordered 2 coleslaw and 1 mashed potatoes, but when I got home, I saw that I received only 1 coleslaw, not 2. Very disappointing since coleslaw is our favorite part of the meal and the reason I ordered the Side Lovers Meal.
It would be a 20-minute drive back to the store, and with gas prices so high, it wasn't worth the trip.
At least the chicken this time was Ok, not dry and inedible like last time. And the young lady at the drive-thru was pleasant and friendly. Unfortunately, they could not get my simple order correct.
Update: I contacted KFC via their website, and they said they were refunding $5, which is better than nothing. The cost of a large side ala carte is $4.99 plus tax. However, I would've preferred just getting my order right in the...
Read moreVisited 1/20/2016 at 6:15pm. Ordered a chicken sandwich. They said it would be 7min and ended up being 25min, while my wife's chicken tenders sat in a box the whole time getting cold. When I complained about the long wait, he blamed it on only having 1 working fryer. They were out of biscuits, cookies, and didn't have any chicken ready at all. The staff looked apathetic and as confused as the manager and have no clue on how to deal with customers. He offered no apology and said I didn't have to tell him "the way that I did" about my dissatisfaction. So there was no acceptance of wrong doing on his part. There were at least 4 or 5 ceiling tiles pushed aside exposing the duct work and electrical. The thermostat cover was broken from the wall and hanging crooked. There was a thin layer of grease over the entire restaurant tile, which you could fee under the souls of your shoes as they slowly slid from under you. We got a refund and left without our food. This review is legit, and if you want to experience one of the worst KFC locations in Milwaukee County, then by all means, go and see the 67th and North Ave location. I'll never go back again. FYI, we went to Cosmo cafe and got redemption with one of the best chicken gyros I've had. So not...
Read moreI wouldn't feed this slop to a starving stray cat. People working here are rude and incompetent. They don't know how to deal with the customers and the manager has me questioning her scruples. The lobby is disgusting, they don't seem to ever clean and if they do it's looks like it was with a dirty mop. Most of the time the drive through is closed but they don't bother placing letting customers know with some sort of sign letting them know. Instead they leave the automated recording tell the customers that someone would be with them shortly. I won't do business with a place run by incompetence and disregard. When questioned about a bill, the manager's response not only was dismissive and inadequate, but she walked away and never bothered to finish the conversation. Last thing I was told was my concerns along with my information was given to "The Office" and when they get back to her she would contact me. I asked if I might be able to speak with them. I was then told that she doesn't give out that information. How does this place...
