Subway — Restaurant in Wauwatosa

Twice in the past 10 days I've tried to order a foot long Veggie Patty at this location, and was disappointed. I realize that the Veggie Patty isn't very popular, but at least have enough available for a foot long. The first time, the worker said there was only one patty. When I asked if they had any more in back, she didn't answer, (so I took a 6", since I wanted something, and being a vegetarian, this is my favorite choice). But when I was at the cashier's area, she told the cashier that she would have to get one out of the freezer for her lunch, because I had taken the last one. This time, I got the same worker, and even though she saw me come in and stand just in front of her, she continued to clean a non-food serving area for over a minute before asking if she could help me. I ordered both a foot long and 6", since I was also getting one for a friend. She said that there was only one patty. When I asked if she could get the others from their freezer to put in the microwave, she came back with someone who told me it was store policy to not bring them out of the freezer and put in the microwave, (and he gave me his reasoning for what would happen to them in the microwave, but I didn't quite catch it). Went there today, and there was a line. I was the 3rd in line and waited for 30 minutes. There was a couple behind me who did a online order but their order has not even come threw the their system and I still waiting nicely. Yet the 1 worker there took for ever just on 1 customer , the 2nd worker was working on online orders. I was next in line, and they took the couple behind me because they placed an online order that they didn't get to customize their order on line . They were a younger couple as well the workers took them and ignored me! Even when I was next in line, waiting for 30 mins in line for my turn. I walked out. I recently visited and bought a protein bowl and the worker pointed out the fact that I could add a tip. I had a good service but I thought I should make a suggestion. First, asking for a tip anywhere is unprofessional especially at Subway. I tip for a good service above and beyond whats expected. I also tip when I am being served at a table or even for curbside pick ups. I think its ridiculous and in poor taste to be asked to tip for a sub. The whole tipping phenomenon is starting to get ridiculous. I feel like gas station attendants will be next to ask for tips to watch you pump your own gas while they watch...
