This place is a gem. Shhhh, don't tell anyone... it's already busy enough! It's classic good food at great prices. The portions are appropriate, the décor is simple, the seating is "odd" by today's "standards" but actually its a lot of fun! I always get a chocolate Malt with breakfast, YES, breakfast. To comment on some other reviews, yes the place is small, so yeah, everyone will look up to see who just came in the door, (more to see if they know you) and then they go back to eating or chatting. I don't see what the big deal is about that. As for rude waitresses, not in my experiences (dozens over the last 9 years). And I'm sorry, but if you get offended because they tell you they aren't serving breakfast anymore, (which I've had happen) I'm sorry but its time to go home and get a hug from your mother and then put on your big boy pants. Ted's is awesome!! The food is always good on top of being extremely adorable. The service is spectacular!! They greet yu coming in an leaving. They smile an very fast. Ted's gives you the home feeling with the layout the dishes the service an food. This is hands down my 1st choice to a breakfast place. The owner always there cooking helping out. The owner works just as hard as his employees an thats speak volume to me. Ted's is a place to relax an enjoy you can read the paper in peace get relaxed or enjoy good conversation with others ,the crowd is always polite. Have been here a few tomes before. Will nrver go back. The place was dirty. The cook from the kitchen came out and plopped a food crusted knife and fork in front of me. Ordered grilled cheese sandwich on white that had one slice of melted cheese on it for over $4. When I questioned the sandwich I was told I didnt say I wanted the "other" grilled cheese. Got that sandwich. Not much better. Young man sitting in corner probably waited 20 min before anyone approached him. They said they didn't see him. I saw him.
