I go there regularly and everything is usually okay. Today I ordered me and my mom shrimp salads for lunch. My mom ate hers quickly to get back to work and as I was nearing the end of eating mine I noticed a couple of small bugs. (Possibly gnats) in what was left of my plate. So since I was pretty much done with the food I had no intention of asking for a refund because what’s done is already done. So instead I call and let the manager know to maybe check through the items of the salad(I named ranch and tomato’s because that’s what they were on when I noticed them) because there were a few bugs in mine. She tells me there’s no way because the ranch is made daily.. clearly there is and it needs to be checked but to not cause problems I said well maybe possibly the tomatoes. I was answered with a quick and attitudinal “whats wrong with the tomatoes”. I said well there’s bugs somewhere and I’m just saying something needs to be checked I’m not even asking for a refund I’m just letting you know. Then I was met with a swift okay thanks and a dial tone.. absolutely ridiculous. Didn’t get a name but whoever the manager was at 1:45 on 3/19/25 in Waycross is rude as hell.
Update: Owner Heidi called and heard my concerns, assured me everything was being checked and handled appropriately. Greatly appreciate the extra mile to acknowledge my experience...
Read moreI ordered 2 Camel Riders and whole order of mushrooms and a half order of mushrooms to go. Asked the girl before leaving if my ranch was in there, she said, “ yes she personally put them in.” Drive 35 minutes home to get there and NO RANCH!!!!!. Called the store and spoke to the manager. She said she would give me credit for the ranch. I explained I didn’t buy extra ranch and that I was not eating the mushrooms without ranch. Told her I could bring them back tomorrow cause they would not be eaten. She told me not necessary So I thought we understood I wanted was the replacement of the mushrooms for free the next time since they were not eaten. I called the following week to place the same order girl said she had to talk to the manager about the free mushrooms. She Comes back on the line and says the manager says you can get your free ranch. What good will that do they don’t charge for ranch with mushrooms so therefore they’re not giving me anything for the mushrooms in the trash that didn’t get eaten. The staff needs a training course in customer service. I will not be back. UPDATE: The owner reached out and apologized. She was very professional and did exactly what she said she would do. Read moreWOW.......I can't even believe what I dealt with for my first time. I'm from Philly so me and my son wanted to try their hoagie and cheese steaks. I had read reviews on the nasty customer service but most of the reviews were great about the food. So I thought going in ordering and leaving would be great. However, we go in tonight for the first time. My son ordered a cheese steak. And he asked for jalapenos on the side. The cashier had to ask and the woman she asked told her yes but for .25¢ extra for her aggravation. I know I heard her and was going to continue to order but then the city came back into me and said why would I ever order from here with such disrespect. I sure did show out cause I have never been so disrespected in my life and went to my favorite place so far which is highway 55 where the food is good and customer service is excellent. And the manager on duty at Michael's definitely didn't handle it correctly. So I will be trying to go up further with this because I don't understand it. Disgraceful I thought down south was supposed to be better than that. No home...
