Caught the shop at a bad time, but I'll certainly be coming here again and again. Good boba, less sugar actually means less sugar.
Its 8:20PM. Picked up a toilet fill valve replacement kit and the craving hit. I've lived away from Flushing for so long. I can't recall the taste of bobba...nor the sound of water or you know what I'm saying. Hail Mary attempt and Google Map searched "bubble tea". THERE IS A PLACE NEAR?! Closes at 9:30pm but only 6 mins away. Approached the front awning and see no one manning the tea shop window and the sushi restaurant workers are cleaning up the sushi bar. F*. Closing is at 9:30pm, so I attempt the online ordering system and finalize my order. Confirmations arrive via text and email that my order will be ready to pick up. I wait in my car and go back to the window at pick up time. Two empty cups with labels on the counter. The lady opens the window and confirms the order with me. NGL the interaction did not inspire confidence in me but it's definitely my fault for coming at this desolate hour in the cold and rain. Read moreBeen a frequent customer here since they opened back some time in April 2021 and have always enjoyed their milkteas.
Ive most likely tried everything on the menu and have liked every single one. The milk teas have great flavor, freshly brewed and not the powdered ones. The boba also has a nice chewy texture and delicious flavor. Their taro is not like the rest as its made of pureed taro which I actually enjoy! Now (Nov. 2022) theyve even added a few more items such as honeydew slush, hojicha (finally official!) and panna cotta milk teas to name a few.
Its always such a nice milktea treat here and so conveniently located closer to home. They also offer mochi ice cream and their Nama Noodle bar had just is officially opened October 2022 which is another thing to look forward to!
Staff is great and parking space is huge too! So glad theyre here...
Read moreBetter than Gong-Cha in my opinion. The teas are natural and yes the prices are similar but most of the ingredients are organic and natural. It's a family business and even though they may be a little slow with service you can tell it's because they care about the quality of the food they're serving. They're very consistent and the food is delicious. Substitutions on almost anything and they'll even suggest a better combination of something. Portions are good. We've had ramen, the miso and black garlic are delicious. We've had passionfruit bubble tea which is our favorite. We've the had taro milk tea which is very nice if you like different textures (you get the pulp from the taro and the boba). I highly recommend this place. You can order online in their website at no additional...
