Outback Steakhouse — Restaurant in Wayne

I ordered here for a party. First of all when we went to go pick up the order, they didn't have it! They said they never got the order which, of course is utter baloney. I called the day before and spoke to a gal who allegedly never put the order in. Went to pick up my order one hour before the party and nothing is there. Can you imagine being in that position?!?? Exactly. So my husband spoke to the manager while he was there and they promised to pull something together, which they did, but when it was brought home, the package was so incredibly small. I was shocked and profusely embarrassed to be serving what little food I did for an entire party. All I did was apologize all night to my guests. I did not enjoy myself at all. I pulled whatever I could out of my pantry to pull something together because there was not enough food. Their trays are not normal sized trays!!!!! They are like a quarter of the size!!!! If you are having a party, do not ever order from here or you will be taken to the bank and embarrassed beyond belief in front of your guests. That night I called and spoke to a manager whom promised to refund me for one of the trays that they were missing food out of. They're supposed to be five pieces of chicken and there was only four. I complained about everything obviously and demanded that I was refunded my money for at least that one tray. He said he would refund the money but of course he never did. This right here is why many of these restaurants that have been around for so many years are starting to go out of business. They can't keep up with competition. You can get better food and more of it from other places. If you want to eat in the restaurant for an outdated atmosphere and decent food, fine, but don't ever order for a party. You will be at a loss of your hard earned money and there is zero follow up when things go wrong and zero...

I wanted to take this opportunity to extend a Kudos to several managers and employees at the Outback Steakhouse in Wayne, NJ. I would also like to send a heartfelt "Thank you" to Dennis, Madison, Sandra, Felix and most definitely to Damian, Natalie and Savonis who always provide us with the best service and make our time there very enjoyable. The Outback Steakhouse has become our second home (myself and my husband) because we love the food and the great service.

Whenever we arrive there, we are greeted immediately by professional staff who are positive, caring and respectful. The restaurant is always clean and comfortable. I love their food and desserts, which are always very good. A special thanks to the cooks (Clarence, Equan and anyone else who assists with our meals). The managers/employees are very kind, polite, respectful, have great listening skills, excellent verbal communication and a desire to help people. I have also witnessed some of their interactions with other customers as well.

Thank you, thank you and thank you for making sure that we are satisfied and happy with our experiences. As a result, I will always recommend the Outback Steakhouse in Wayne, NJ, to others and continue to dine here. Kudos once again and keep up the...

About ten of us had a small pre-Christmas gathering a few days ago. I would like to thank the management team for a dynamic experience. The food was EXCELLENT. Served right on time with proper temperature and presentation. This is extremely important to me-hot food needs to be hot and cold food needs to be cold..! Krystle was our server (and I probably spelled her name wrong!) and she had someone helping her (short, dark-haired girl). Krystle was pleasant, efficient, friendly, observant, kind, and extremely attentive. Her helper, however, needs a little bit of work…she wasn’t rude…but if anyone of us asked for anything, she seemed bothered (I will get it in a minute; give me a minute…was her continual answer) Krystle..a tiny thing..loaded our dirty plates up in two quick trips. This meant a lot because the other girl had to be asked..and she wasn’t too happy. Customers don’t want to sit with dirty dishes! Get them off the table fast! Other than that, I would highly recommend this location for an outing with friends/family/coworkers. Ask for Krystle…she is someone who takes pride in her job and treats her customers like they matter....
