Very fun themed restaurant, if you’re into 🍺 then you’ll be thrilled about this place. They have hundreds of options to choose from. The food portions are great, definitely a bang for your buck! Most if not all sandwiches come with side of chips, the chips have a great crunch but we wished there was a bolder flavor pop to them. They definitely taste homemade and not just bag chips. The side options they have are fair priced. You can get a whole cup of Mac and cheese for about $3. The have up to date pricing on their online menu. Along with this they offer gluten free bread options. Overall the food is great, definitely seems like the local hangout spot. We stoped here after hiking the nearby trails. We arrived hungry and left perfectly filled.

Phantom Punch at Delly Up: Downtown's Roast Beef Redemption Forget the hero complex, the real hero in Waynesboro is the "Phantom" at Delly Up. This roast beef behemoth packs a punch with creamy horseradish sauce and sweet, caramelized onions, all layered on perfectly toasted bread. Each bite is a savory symphony, without any distracting coleslaw to interrupt the perfect harmony. Addictive chips and a killer soda/beer selection make Delly Up a sandwich haven you won't want to escape. Service is rad, friendly, and makes you feel like royalty. Ditch the cape, grab a Phantom, and conquer downtown lunch!

Delly Up is a delightful sandwich shop. Their sandwiches are exceptionally flavorful, thanks to the high-quality bread from Carter's Specialty Breads. I enjoyed both an Italian sub and a turkey on rye sandwich on separate occasions. The bread was delicious, bursting with flavor, and held all the fillings for each sandwich together until the last bite. The shop also offers a wide selection of beverages, homemade pickles, and chips. It appears Delly Up has curated the finest local ingredients, creating a truly enjoyable experience for its patrons. I highly recommend giving them a try.

I’ve lived in Colorado, India, and Southern California as well as here in Virginia. I’ve had some great sandwiches in my time. I’ve had AMAZING sandwiches in Mumbai India, and the other in Los Angeles at a place called Mike’s Deli DTLA. I never thought I’d find an amazing sandwich to match that in Virginia, let alone downtown Waynesboro, but here we are. Delly Up has some amazing sandwiches. The bread is fresh and if it’s toasted, you better bet it’s toasted perfectly. The fillings are also fresh, the sauces well made, the variety wide. But here’s the kicker, you can have all that but still have a mediocre or just “good” sandwich. What makes Delly Up AMAZING is HOW they put it together. What goes next to what for the best flavor profile, how much of each ingredients so you aren’t overwhelmed with one flavor or (worst yet) have a sandwich so thick it spills out the side. Each bite of every sandwich I’ve had at Delly Up has been as perfect as the last. The TBA is my new favorite. Deliciousness. The service is kind and fun, the restaurant is very clean. You can tell the pride everyone takes in their work there. If you haven’t tried Delly Up, you should. This is the BEST sandwich you’re likely to get unless you plan on visiting LA or Mumbai...

This is a cheery casual lunch spot with sunny window seating and great service. The sandwiches are top notch! I got the Phantom, with hot roast beef, caramelized onions, havarti, and a pesto mayonnaise on a ciabatta roll. I would definitely order this again! My son got the TBA with turkey, bacon, avocado spread and a chipotle mayonnaise. He loved it! It's clear that the owner takes pride in offering high quality food and generous portions at very reasonable prices. All the sandwiches are served with housemade kettle chips and a pickle spear. There are a wide array of drinks, both alcoholic and non-alcoholic. The dining area is roomy and clean with simple tables and chairs, a little bit reminiscent of a corner drug store from back in the day. Large windows give views of Main Street and Wayne Avenue. The quiet atmosphere makes it easy to have a meal time conversation. Definitely give this place a shot if you have not....
