We get food from here maybe once every couple of years, unfortunately my experience wasn't great. Fresh fish but old chicken, completely left out my 2 family sides of green beans and no tartar sauce after I asked and then confirmed a second time, when receiving the bags that it was in there. Drive home 30 minutes and notice I am missing items. OK, it happens. I worked/ran a fast food restaurant for almost 20 years. I call to let them know and this poor kid that answers the phone, says sorry and asks if I want to drive back to pick them up. I of course say no because by the time I drive 30 minutes there and 30 minutes back, the rest of my food will be cold...after the most awkward 45 seconds of silence I ask for a manager in which he replies that he's the manager. So I ask if I am just supposed to eat the cost of the 2 family sides that they left out of my bags and the poor thing just stutters and has absolutely NO IDEA how to solve this problem. I suggest to him that he could take my name, receipt number and replace whatever is close to the dollar value of the 2 family sides because let's be honest here, I am not going to go and just order 2 family sides of green beans and he says to me " I don't even know how much 2 family sides cost so I'm not sure what to put down" The reality is, I probably won't be back but I spent $64.00, didn't receive all of my order and when I called to rectify the situation the manager that was on duty had absolutely no idea how to handle the situation. I feel bad for the kid who couldn't have been more than 18/19 managing on a Friday night with no customer service training, no proper process to follow when mistakes are made and the instances that he has probably had to endure with customes that are WAY harsher than I could have been, but wasn't. Instead of the establishment fixing the problem, I had to tell him how to fix it which probably resulted in my name written down on a piece of paper hanging on the wall (what he said he was doing) and a hassle explaining everything IF I go back. Do better please. Managers of all ages need to know how to problem solve and it starts...
Read moreIt's a shame that this location has went south of its goal to be successful. And it's no wonder that it's due to it's managerial input by area coach and her choices of personal to try to effectively run this location...this place was making better than 8k a day..I'm pretty sure it's way below that now...that goes to show what favoritism instead of loyalty and integrity does to the bottom line...it's never good for business period....The previous manager name of Tiffany and her employees ran that store properly and with dignity with no micromanaging needed...now since that manager was forced out because of favoritism to another ex employee who threatened her safety through text ...the store it's in a tails pin...look at your reviews after that manager was forced out...there's no cohesion amongst employees and whatever authority is leading them...this should've been properly investigated..questioned..addressed...to find out what went really wrong with this investment...no one ever asked that manager that was forced out..for her explanation..only took whatever was said about her without a defense ...favoritism = loss of confidence =loss of trust and finally...loss of profits...it's time to take stock at what area coaches are really doing to help make your business thrive not have the adverse effect as it's obvious with this...
Read moreSoon after the new Long John Silver’s re-opened in Weatherford TX, the batter-fried fish had a strange taste… I’m thinking this restaurant is using the same deep-fryer for both chicken and fish (which will send those allergic to chicken to the hospital ER). There is no warning posted anywhere. To prevent killing someone, the fish and chicken must be cooked in separate oil. Same for other fried items. I noticed this because the fish tasted like it was fried in chicken fat. Prices have more than doubled without rationale. I do not believe the tip/gratuity should be automatically included in the total bill so the manager doesn’t have to pay the employees for what they are worth. Tips are for exceptional service, not for ignoring your order until it is health-department cold violation bacteria-laden; not for never refilling drinks unless you are TABC violation inebriated; not for serving 2-day old microwaved food scrapped from the previous customer dishes; … numerous County Health code violations because there is ZERO initiative to improve. Including the tip in the total doesn’t give anyone initiative to improve and justification to spit/pee/wipe on a complaining customer. The GM should pay their employees what they are worth, and not reply upon tips to...
