I don’t like leaving these reviews but I find this one necessary. It’s post covid and customer service MUST return to the service industry!
My neighbor was talking Luigi’s up and told him in the past 2 years, I’ve been there 3 times and had been disappointed each time. He said I should give them another shot and order their white pizza Luigi. Which I did. Take out.
I specifically asked for fresh parmesan to be added to the pizza. I got there, payed and before leaving, looked to make sure it was right.
They put packets of “parmesan” on with the pizza. I asked them again if I could have it fresh. I was told to go, packets only. The said they don’t have grinders (however they brought freshly grated parm to my table each time I’ve been there).
You might be thinking why this is a big deal for me. It’s because the packets are not Parmesan, they have Parmesan in it, as well as sawdust (powdered cellulose).
After telling him I knew better than that and this was a disappointment, he offered to go get some from the back. No thanks. Pizza was actually good and would have started coming back, but because you thought I was an idiot, there’s no chance in hell my family or me will return.
I keep the real stuff at home just as well you do for dine in customers.
It’s sad that I paid for a $20 tiny pizza and couldn’t even get fresh parm without all that bs you told me. Good luck with that...
Read moreAfter a long day of driving we stuck to the plan to eat at Luigi's, which we found hours earlier with a quick Google search of Weatherford restaurants. First thing's first: what a terrific and charming little joint of a restaurant. The staff went above and beyond to cater to our every need, from the bread guy to the water guy to the waiter, a guy, all of them with smiles and courteous demeanors and friendly attitudes. Their professionalism added to the ambiance. The free garlic rolls arrived fresh from the oven and the dipping oil made them that much more delicious. As for the main dish, it's rare that I'll order something like shrimp primavera but the photo in the menu piqued my interest and I took the plunge. So happy I did because it arrived just as it looked in the photo. The many seasoned shrimp were plump and cooked just right, that is to say tender, with flavor, and that's just the half of it becaue the truth about Luigi's shrimp primavera is I wanted to take a bath in the cream sauce, so rich and tangy and emboldened with a perfect amount of spice. The first bite hooks you and by the time you use one of the rolls to mop up the last of the excess sauce you realize you just enjoyed a transcendent experience, and forget you'd just spent 7 hours on the road.
Weatherford is lucky to have such a joint.
Thank you, Luigi's, for the experience and the...
Read moreI travel the U.S. with work and had to stop here. Very cozy and the atmosphere was wonderful. Pizza and limoncello cake were DELICIOUS! Outstanding job on that pizza, loaded with everything, and the cake was tasty without a lot of sugar. Brooklyn, our server, was FABULOUS! She was very kind, helpful, and professional. Some of the other servers could smile more. They looked like they hated there job. When we smiled and nodded, they did not smile. The Owners and Managers were also very kind, professional, and helping their staff. AWESOME! I gave the food 4 stars because the bread was not fresh. It tasted prepacked and heated, a bit dry and stale when delivered to our table. The olive oil dip with garlic was delicious with fresh garlic. It would have been nice if they served just a bit more, but I'm sure Brooklyn would have brought more if we asked. She's the BEST! The Greek salad did not have traditional dressing and no pepracinnis. It was a red wine vinegar dressing. Very disappointing because Luigi's is a very nice Italian restaurant with above average pricing. The Greek salad alone, was almost $10.00. In conclusion, the the pizza and limoncello cake were so delicious. I'm going to be in town a few days, so we will return to try the pasta. I believe it's worth giving Luigi's another try. I'm looking forward to trying the pasta and...
