While visiting Arby's today my family and I encountered several issues. I attempted to discuss it with the Store Manager but she dismissed me and walked away.
To begin with, we stood at the counter for several minutes with no acknowledgement whatsoever. I began to observe the employees work. While they did remain busy, they had no sense of urgency and made no attempt to acknowledge our presence at the register. I began listening to their dialogue and heard an employee in the kitchen (later self identified as the Store Manager, Joey) complaining about having to make sandwiches. It was at that point we decided to take our business elsewhere.
Before leaving I wanted to give the manager a chance to "make it right". I asked if I could speak with her for a moment and she replied, "I guess I'll just quit making all these sandwiches."
I expressed my frustrations and she stated that she couldn't help it if there were only three employees on duty and that the rest of the crew failed to show up for their shift today. I explained my expectations of continued communication with the customers and that the three employees working could still be doing their best and working quickly. She had already dismissed me and began to return to the kitchen without an apology or attempt at continued communication.
Her attitude was very poor and it is no surprise the crew is unreliable when their management is such a terrible example. This is our local store and I will not...
Read moreArby’s just went from 5 Stars to 1 Star and I probably won’t be back! Had a meeting with some people today, and we decided to meet at Arby’s in Webb City! I got there 15 minutes early and went inside to order. I was told, “sorry we can’t take your order at the counter because our cash registers are down and the only one working is the drive-thru.” I pointed at the drive/thru register and said , “Take my order on the drive-thru register.” He insisted they could not do that and wanted me to go back outside, get in my car and go through the drive thru! I said, why don’t you just pretend I’m a car and take my order on the register just 6 feet away and save me the hassle? He (and the others working there) were to ignorant to figure out how to do this. I told him that I and my business partners were going to just go next door and eat (and have our meeting) at Taco Bell. I said that they were losing business (I saw others leaving also). He said. “we’re a billion dollar company and can afford to lose the business.” Well if I was the franchise original owner, I’d lose those ignorant and...
Read moreETA 6/22: It's been awhile since I ate here, and the food has gone downhill. I was in the mood for a French Dip so I stopped in. The stuff they gave me is NOT au jus. It looks sort of like gravy, except it's too thin, and it has no flavor. Honestly, it looks like they scooped it up from the bottom of a pan that was left in the fridge for a week. It's disgusting. The roast beef tasted like the cheap packages of deli meat Mom used to make SOS from. The staff is still friendly, at least. I doubt I'll be back.
The service is quick and friendly and the food is good. There's never a hassle over using a coupon, which I appreciate because I love saving money. They're generous with the sauce packets, too. Unlike a lot of fast food places, they give plenty of ketchup, Arby's sauce, etc. so I don't have to ask for more. Try the Reuben,...
