This review is regarding the Webster, TX location. We dined there on 4/25/2021 around 3:00 pm. We are regulars at this restaurant, at least we were until our experience today. Our server, Lindsey, with long black hair and glasses, was the worst server we’ve ever had. When ordering drinks, I asked for a milk for my 1 year old daughter and she told us they didn’t have any..later to find out they did actually have milk. We asked for our complimentary croissants, twice, and never received them. She spilled my mother in laws margarita and didn’t offer any napkins to clean it up. When our food came everyone asked for condiments and we also needed refills on our drinks at that time. In the middle of asking for my condiment, she threw her hands in the air, rolled her eyes and walked away. I was the 3rd person to ask for a condiment at that point. Another person at our table asked for Heinz 57 and she brought a bottle with almost nothing in it and told us it was the last one in the restaurant...we later found out that was also a lie. At that point, we asked to speak to a manager. She recommended we get a new server and apologized for our troubles. At one point, we saw Lindsey talking with other servers while pointing at us. Robert was our new server, but we were already completely finished and we didn’t need anything from him at that point. When I was checking out, I started to slide the tip meter over from 22% and the manager said, “just so you know, the check is on Robert’s name now.” I’ve worked in the restaurant industry and realize that servers have to tip out a percentage of their sales. If that’s the case, our meal should have been comped to avoid Robert having to pay out on his coworkers expense. The manager should have known that we were not going to leave a nice tip after the way we were treated. We aren’t the type to complain just to get a free meal and we certainly aren’t going to leave a 20% tip on a bill over $100 to someone who didn’t help us with anything. Sadly, we...
Read moreI'm extremely embarrassed I used to always love this particular location in webster but unfortunately I was extremely disappointed with the food this time that I came through with my family. I used to always have arguments with my sister and tell her this is the best cheddar's location in Houston and she was like no thank you I wanna go to the one in Pasadena so we would always go to the 1 in Pasadena and this time we were closer to the Baybrook area and we decided to come in here and their food was extremely disgusting. They're cheese dip was extremely old tasting and it looked extremely orange. Their chips were extremely stale and extremely greasy. honey mustard was extremely tangy and spicy. Their food almost tasted like they are running rogue and not following corporate recipes. I have been to a 1000 different cheddars all over Texas. I travel a lot and trust me and believe me I should know. Their salad was extremely bitter almost like they did not wash the iceberg lettuce the right way. Their lemons looked extremely old and were extremely bitter. For you to have bad lemons And couldn't even enjoy a lemon that was like this was the straw that broke the camels back. I was extremely embarrassed and I told my sister and brother in law that I would never bother them about the cheddars Pasadena. So Pasadena cheddars it is from this day on. Before I left I told the waiter to tell the manager their I would pay for their meal at the Pasadena cheddars so they can taste and proof that their food is totally 100% different tasting than other cheddars! Something is not right! Well Goodluck cheddars in Webster!...
Read moreWent to cheddars on November 23, 2024, at around 12 PM. Greeted by a very rude girl who did not acknowledge us. We asked to be seated at the first booth in the bar section. We sat down. She threw the menus on the table and walked away. I said thank you, and she turned around and gave me a rude look. We sat there for 20 minutes; nobody came to the table. The bartender was making faces from a distance, knowing that we were sitting there waiting. A couple came in and sat in the middle of the bar area at a table. He went to them and took their order as we continued to wait. We called cheddars from the table so we could speak to the manager since we could not find anyone. We were placed on hold, so we stopped a bus boy and asked him to get the manager, and the manager finally came to our table. We explained the rude host, which turns out she was not a host. But in charge of the curbside pickup, the manager did apologize for the wait and the rudeness of the girl, but our table felt uncomfortable. The girl and other waiters were in a small group, including the bartender, looking our direction and pointing and talking about us. It was very strange. We will not be going back to this location ever again. We’re regular customers. We had an experience three weeks ago with poor food quality and wrong orders, and now this. This location used to be great but has gone...
