Ordered the toasted ravioli and on the plate with them were the contents left over in the fryer basket, an old fry, two crusty tails from fried shrimp and the oil and burnt crumbs from the ravs being poured directly from the basket onto the plate they were served on.
For dinner we ordered the Parm Salmon and the Filet Marsala. The filet was cooked perfectly. My only complaint about it, is the amount of sauce. It was drenched in it. The salmon was extremely over cooked and dry. When brought to their attention they offered to have it remade or taken off the bill. Because of time we opted to just have it removed from the bill to which they promptly told us that it needed to be removed from the table. The manager came out and apologized for the inconvenience and once again offered to have something else prepared. We declined. After paying we asked why the salmon was removed from the table and it was stated because “people complain to get free meals so it’s our policy”. So.. assume that everyone is broke and can’t afford your over priced food? If we were trying to do that, why choose the salmon that cost significantly less than a filet? It’s extremely rude to assume that the customer is just trying to “get a free meal”. I understand that the offer was made to remake or replace the salmon but we were already there for a hour and didn’t want to wait for one meal to be remade. The whole exchange was extremely awkward. We will...
Read moreI went for the first time a few weeks ago. I had the eggplant parm and it was AAMAZING! Their salad dressing is also SO good. The service wasn’t great. We sat in the bar area and an older woman from the bar served us. She seemed like we were bothering her anytime we had to stop and think for a moment about what we wanted. It wasn’t very busy in there but she had family/friends there so I guess she was more worried about them. I have been thinking about the eggplant parm ever since. I ordered two orders of it last night via Uber eats since I was recovering from COVID and couldn’t leave the house. It got delivered and not only were both of my salads wrong but both orders of eggplant park came with no noodles. Each container had two pieces of eggplant with a tiny amount of sauce and that’s it. One of the containers had such a tiny piece of eggplant in it. It was smaller than the lid of the lid for the dressing. I called up and asked to speak to a manager just to let them know what happened. The manager picked up and when I was telling her what was wrong it seemed like she hung up on me. I called back and the hostess couldn’t get her back in the phone. I guess she didn’t want to listen to a customer complaint. Although I was very nice about it. They offered to put two eggplant Parma “on the books” for next time I come in which was nice but didn’t help the fact that half of the meals were...
Read moreI would never recommend. My husband and I along with a friend a few weeks ago. I knew we shouldn’t have eaten there when we walked in on a Saturday during lunch time and the restaurant was empty.
Our server was amazing and did a great job, too bad she was serving bad food. I ordered the filet Marsala and the steak was over coked and extremely tough. I asked our server to take the food back and she felt so bad. My husband’s Alfredo sauce didn’t taste like anything and our friend’s red sauce was just okay.
To top it all off we had a gift certificate to another restaurant called Rizzo’s only to find out that the gift certificate was to another restaurant. When the server said this she also said that this is a common problem. Why did it not click when we said it before we even ordered to check if we were at the right restaurant. We paid for our bill and left the $100 gift certificate for the server as a tip, which is more than fair.
The restaurant is very out dated and looks like a restaurant that should be on kitchen nightmares.
To top it all off when my husband leaves a review you respond with a rude response instead of wanting to grow and develop for the situation. Noted.
Wouldn’t recommend coming here for anything. I...
