Not too sure how this place has so many good reviews, regulars maybe?... went around 5:15 on a wednesday with my husband and 3 kids. The place was empty besides a few people in the bar area. We weren't greeted. We pushed our own 2 tables together in the restaurant side. I went into the bar area and grabbed a highchair. And we sat and waited 15 minutes. No one came by. I saw 2 women working. One was sitting at the bar - on a break I guess. A man (the cook?) walked out of the kitchen area, looked around, and walked right back in. The other woman went back to talk to him, came out and finally came over to our table. "Sorry kitchen is closed." We used to PAY THE LIGHT BILL at Tommy boys , which we enjoyed. With our busy schedules after the new ownership and switch to STL throwdowns, we haven’t made it in much but we just made another visit on a whim and are SO GLAD WE DID! The catfish nuggets, can’t be beat! The staff is attentive and friendly and we truly felt like part of the fam!! I dont want to be in the young club bars and this is the perfect mix of entertainment and relaxation after a long week! 100% can say, this was our FAVORITE visit.
